Just got my first fantastic haircut from Red at Ratbags Barber Shop. The quality of the cut is superb, and demonstrates a great degree of skill, precision and attention to detail. Red was also great conversation and very friendly throughout. His ample experience as a barber really shows! Won't hesitate to return and would highly recommend.

went today at Ratbags barber shop, very nice place, I like the look, vibe and atmosphere, I have no booking and the find a spot for me in just 30 minutes, was quite good.I went there because I saw the review and I was happy to try out.Unfortunately my experience was kind of a mixed bag.The cut was good, clean and nice, the beard in the other hand (my first time doing my beard in a shop) was kind of underwhelming, very plain... but I was happy to give the experience a 4 stars review... unfortunately I am loose a star when I paid the bill, 65$ for a standard cut and beard trim...Not complaining about the price but when I pay a premium price for a service (barber shop around are doing the same for 50/55$) I do expect something more... very little scissors, 95% clipper, no razor on the neck or around the beard, no hot towel even if the warmer was just in front of me, no cream or anything where the fine machine shaving was done and, in other place at similar price range, they even offer a quick eyebrows clean up, here nothing.Again nothing against the place, looks amazing, nothing against the cut itself, but if I pay a premium I like to receive a little bit more, because of that I don’t think I will go back, I can have the same quality of cut for a significantly cheaper price nearby and a better overall service at the same price point pretty much next door

Have been going here for quite some time now. Even after moving to Brisbane, I continue to return! The service is amazing, Dean is great at what he does and always gives a great chat! Definitely worth the drive! Highly recommend
