Watch out for dog behind counter. Beds clean, air conditione and shower in room. Shared toilets. Lovely staircase.

Only stayed here for the one night, reception very helpful and friendly, the room was adequate with towels and wash stuff. There was a pool and social area for cooking, for the money i would stay here again.

Friendly family run business. Communal kitchen and lounge. Secure set up. Great for travellers on a budget. Walk 5 minutes to town.

Nice clean comfortable room. Has Foxtel and located in the heart of Alice Springs only issue was with the bathroom door jaming therefore leaving me stuck in there a couple of times

Desert rose is a budget motel bathrooms are separate to the rooms although they may have a self contained unit but i only wanted to go to sleep and shower then go..no smoking there is a beautiful king shepard dog that the owners have so maybe it is pet friendly i dont know.a restaurant is downstairs out back I walked to town from here so its not to far out..of alice..l only giving a 2 star coz for no toilet and a bit pricey when you need to go at 3am to the dunny..but it was clean and easy..

Desert Rose Inn
I enjoyed my stay at the beautifully named Desert Rose. It is well priced, solid, practical accommodation with a huge, clean, well equipped share kitchen, and laundry with ironing board. These are great must haves if you're staying for a while or need a home away from home. Friendly staff and flexible around dates if you need to extend. Clean good size rooms and great location.Highly recommend.

Quaint, casual and friendly...Centrally located...No fuss budget accommodation with everything you need AND a great communal kitchen...Brian and his wife are friendly and helpful hosts :-)

Dirty floor, uncleaned sink and shower and super dusty. The room was so small that the door didn't open all the way and the place smelt like a seedy old man. The shared kitchen was disgusting. The dog at reception was terrifying (usually love dogs) and barked at everyone. Would not recommend.

Comfortable, good laundry and self serve kitchen facilities. Off road parking & pleasant staff. Whilst it's not luxury, we enjoyed our stay. Happy to recommend this Motel.
