Great range of timbers for any project. Staff very approachable and knowledgeable. Friendly in-store atmosphere and welcoming.

I am extremely pleased with our Otto's Timber custom front door made from Merbau and Rock Maple. It truly makes the front of our house. They were extremely flexible and helpful with the design. Their staff are extremely knowledgeable and passionate about their timbers. Our alfresco deck and front porch are also made form Merbau supplied by Otto's Timber which looks absolutely stunning. Thank you for your input and making our experience there very enjoyable and easy.

100% Worth going to if you have a woodworking project and require wood!!!The staff was super friendly and helpful. I ended up getting the wood for way cheaper than at Bunnings Warehouse and it was way better quality than at bunnings. Thanks tons for the help I can't wait to have another project so I can go there again.

The new Otto Timber location is absolutely amazing! The storefront features two stories of planks, boards and blocks (including turning accessories) and an abundance of workshop equipment and materials. The owner (fourth generation Otto!) and his partner have had over a decade of experience in timber projects and sales, so you’re in the right hands. In addition to having the best quality timber in Adelaide, there is a small on-sight workshop. The adage still stands - “make Otto your motto for fancy timbers”.

Complete lack of customer service. Came in to ask about some custom wood sizes for floating shelves. I said we were new to DIY and were looking for some woods and guidance on how to achieve what we wanted. The man (older with longer hair in a pony tail) that served us was blunt, rude and gave us the impression that we were time wasters because we’re younger and didn’t know much about timber. How do you expect people to learn and have an appreciation for it? Unfortunately, we will never give them business.

Otto's joinery have recently made my 2.7m high merbau floor to ceiling window frames for my new house and also our merbau and queensland red cedar front door. They are so beautiful and are by far the best features of my house! Otto's also provided all our benchtops and merbau decking.Otto's have done an excellent job with quality workmanship and I am very happy to recommend them to anyone.

Terrible. There were 3 staff on, 2 with customers, but the older gentleman clearly having a yak over away from the counter. I stood there for 15 mins totally ignored, then when one of them spoke to me at 4.16pm I was told that I couldn't be helped as 'the boys' all knockoff at 4.15pm.I felt terrible. All I wanted was sawdust which takes not even 5 mins to fill the tub which I BRING ALONG. NOT HAPPYNot to mention I have been here before at this time of day without issue - and they are open until 4.30pm.How I wish I had a job where I could say directly to the customer tough luck as we've all knocked off already. Really poor.

Otto timber is the absolute perfect place for all your exotic timber needs, if you have questions about any timber projects you might be working on they will have the answers AND the materials. Amazing atmosphere and staff, highly recommend even just to have a little browse.

Worthless. I've gone to Otto to buy wood a couple of times. They are expensive and generally make it difficult to pick the timber boards you want. I tried to buy some large quantities of wood as a hobbyist (about $3500 worth). They said they'd get back to me in a couple of days with pricing after I gave them sizes. They never responded. Went in two weeks later and they said they'd call the next day, but might not be able to obtain the timber. I had to call them a week later and they said they could do it, but the pricing more than the big box stores. This wasn't the first time I had been promised a quote and they didn't respond. Can't believe they would brush off someone who tries to buy several grand worth every couple years.
