Phil Bee really were amazing! They managed to supply directly an out of stock Ottoman and co-ordinated delivery. Ottoman that arrived was even better then the photos! Amazing quality of the product and 100% service excellence. I will definitely be buying more Phil Bee items again!

In response to the owner:Correct, you have not had any contact directly with me as I went through The Home (online purchase) as stated in my original post. I sent photos and explanation when I bought them and was told the supplier would not refund or replace. This was less than a year ago!! Your company name is on a sticker on the underside of both stools.The Manhattan stool is still on your website (I had a look through the furniture section). If not in stock for over 2 years why does it still appear?I find it interesting that another customer had also had an issue with stools, giving you a low score only to have a second customer have a go and post a 5 star rating. No other reviews until mine today then a 5 star rating from a customer who bought stools". Seems suss to me - looks like you're trying to counteract the low review.Original postI bought two Manhattan gas lift bar stools via The Home. Really happy with great service from Jaide and warehouse staff on my latest purchase of a cottage/rustic Wall Calendar with hooks and boxes - just perfect to give me a place to put and hang things I need to do/take next day or in a week - and a chalk board to write more reminders!They will also suit our Hamptons/Cottage home styling when our reproduction new home is finished building by Kialla Homes in May!Can't wait!

Recently purchase an industrial bookshelf from Phil Bee and i must say, it was such a wonderful and easy transaction. Truly customer service at its best!

Purchased set of bar stools with wooden backs. Expected decent quality as the stools were over $100 a piece.Less than 2 month of use and the wood on the backs is chipping away where it has had light contact with the bench. Chips look awful as the wood is stained and the colour underneath is completely different. I might expect this wear and tear after years of use, but not after 2 months of light use. The stools have been used exactly as they were intended for which is up against a kitchen bench/bar. The kitchen bench is also wood and has shown no signs of wear and tear from the contact.Stools look good but the quality is rubbish. I have approached Philbee to try and find a solution to the problem and they have brushed me off. Avoid or you will be disappointed.@rob matherson: There are no half truths in my original review. I clearly stated there was minor contact of the wood on the chair with the wooden bench top. You should provide your own feedback on Philbee rather than commenting on my honest feed back. I dare say you are probably affiliated with Philbee hence the suspect 5 star rating.
