Chittering Landcare Centre | Environmental managers of the Ellen Brook and Brockman catchments | Chittering Landcare Response to the COVID-19 Health Crisis The Chittering Landcare Centre wish to ensure we play our part in reducing the risk of COVID-19 for all our supporters, staff and volunteers. In response, workshops have been cancelled/postponed until the end of May and limited workshop are scheduled for 2022 after May. This will be reviewed periodically following the advice of the WA Government and the Chief Medical Officer. At this time all hygiene protocols are practiced at the Landcare Centre by staff and all visitors are asked to follow Washing your hands before entering the Centre. Please don't come if you are unwell, or returning from overseas and have not self-isolated for the 14 days, or been in contact with someone with the virus. When it is safe to do so we will be very happy to see you. Some of the staff will work from home some of the time, however, the Landcare Centre will remain open and staff are available. Everyone can be contacted by email. Our primary objective is to plant all 160,000 seedlings in June and July. This is on track but may happen without our school student help. We will continue to manage our projects and prepare applications for new projects in 2023 as best we can. Updates will be on our web page as they become available. We hope that you keep well and normality will return sooner rather than later.
