A stunning bay, with a stunning jetty! A bit windy the day I was there, but that is to be expected at the beach...lol. It's an easy walk to the end of the jetty and back. There are toilets there, and plenty of seating where you can sit and watch the waves or boats coming and going, at the boat ramp. Also there are wooden stumps in an undercover area that are used as fish cleaning tables. Definitely somewhere to stop and have a stroll.

Nice view of the Jetty and there is a car park, one can start the Cape Buffon walk from here. There are more scenic spots along the trail.

My husband and I came here while on holiday from Canada to do some fishing. We had no idea what we were doing and were going to give up and leave, when I approached a couple gentlemen who I asked for advice.We ended up staying for another 4 or 5 hours chatting with these fellas, who gave us gear, set up our lines, let us use their bait, and regaled us with tales from their lives. Kevin and Steve, it was an absolute pleasure to meet you and I wish you both the absolute best! :)
