Last night, I had Iftar at Dil Dosti Restaurant with my family, and I must say, the new look of the restaurant was quite impressive, with nice interior decor and good hygiene. Also, the service was good and professional. About the food, it was authentic Pakistani cuisine, as the logo says, with the right amount of spices and the right pricing. It's a must-try, and I would highly recommend this restaurant if someone is looking for a real Pakistani taste"."

One of the best INDIAN/ PAKISHTANI Food ( Buffet) I have ever had in Melbourne, if not in Australia. So delicious and Authentic food. actual price was 32$ but they just charged me 15 $ . So kind of them.Worth going if you are looking for Indian / Pakistani cuisin, you will be fan like me. Name itself is so good dil doati" I recommend you definitely try their veg salad and particullary ask for Pudina raita (best ever)And I am Not even Pakishtani. Just food lover !! I wish there were 10 or evwn 100 ratings to give."

The Negatives:1- Let me start by saying that they door to the restaurant is bloody annoying. It's a sliding door and in winter the restaurant is freezing because all those idiots going out don't have the courtesy of closing the door. And the wind gushes inside making it a terrible place to enjoy food ! Seriously.2 - Secondly after you place the order they ask for the money straight away !! because they are into a grocery business across the road they think the same rules applies. What if i need to order something extra like Naan's ! do i have to go back and pay again?3 - SERVICE ! in simple terms there's none. Because of staff shortage (overseas students) you will be lucky to be served on time. Or given water for starters. I was served by an older gentleman who was serving the entire restaurant. He was very energetic, polite and extremely hospitable. He tried his best to serve everyone and i appreciate his effort to please everyone.Food :Ordered Halwa , Channa and puri,Nehari and Paya with naan and Tea.Anda ParathaPuri's are good but need to be consistent . Some are not cooked properly. Channa and halwa are average 3/5Nehari: sorry but lacks taste. Those who have rated it high surely have dead taste buds. 2/5Paya : Yes it was good but since it's a personal preference the gravy was very runny. but taste wise 4/5Anda Paratha : Paratha again needs to be consistent.. And the shameful act is that they make 1. only 1 egg omelette ! that's just not equal to the size of the Paratha. sp 2/5Tea : by the time it was served it was cold so 1/5Over all 2.5 /5Nothing special about the restaurant in terms of Seating, Ambiance or service.Food portions are average nothing special and not worth the price.Sorry but not going back for Breakfast.Will be back for lunch to try the remaining menu.Thanks for the ExperienceFrom and Average Customer

THE FOOD IS EXCELLENT.The food is excellent, generous portions and great prices. The service was fast and friendly. I highly recommended it if you’re in that area looking for real Pakistani taste.

I tried their Iftar Buffet last night. It was excellent. Everything was fresh and tasty. The service was good also. They kept replenishing the food without any delays!
