I stay here every week for work and it's one of the best camps I've ever stayed at, the only thing negative thing I have is the beds are too hard for my liking. Some of the best camp food I've had in a very long time.

Staying at Miners Rest and have to go to Village on Blain for crib . No complaints about the food what so ever.

Good enough for the price. I'd rate it 4.5. it's very basic, but most importantly it's clean, you are provided with 3 towels and soap, basic kettle for hot water, microwave, coffee and tea, fridge. There is a restaurant at the premises but haven't tried it yet. Staff at the reception was friendly and patiently answered my few questions I had ;) there is a Woollies nearby for a bit of basic grocery shopping. Again, for the money it's not that bad as some of the reviewers are saying.

The limits on crib was a complete joke. Definitely don't get your money worth.Rooms were clean. Some rooms bigger and nicer than others. The small rooms dont have a door between the shower and room. Pretty sad for the money you pay.

Facilities are well setup, food presented well, good variety. Didn't like paper containers served in, became very messy, ended up eating cardboard. Staff very helpful an pleasant, was noisey at times but not unexpected due to number of units etc. Room's tidy an well kept, would recommend.

Every time I come here I have a problem. Noise aircon, lights not working, miscommunication, and so on.I have read the complaint and did not believe it until I had the experience.

I've stayed a few camps, this one was pretty good. Food was awesome, great service, clean and tidy. Tv was small and in awkward spot. awesome blinds, total light block out.

Even though they don't like the title, it is predominantly a miners camp, with both BMA,Yarrabee and various other contracting companies staff calling this home away from home. The food is good some of the time, most of the rooms are fine (except for the small ones with the box aircons). The staff are mostly friendly with a few that need attitude adjustments.Since covid, it has taken on a very negative, controlling vibe, I understand the importance of it all, but this place has gone over the top and some staff have given total disregard to customer service, and instead treat the 'GUESTS' like children.Families do stay here on occasion, but you need to be mindful that there are a lot of shift workers that are trying to sleep at all times of the day and night. So if you were a family looking to stay in Blackwater, there would be much better choices
