Must see place just out of Broken Hill is Silverton. Especially the Mad Max Museum. Mundi Mundi lookout is where the opening scene from Mad Max 2 was filmed.

This is a privately owned collection with some items loaned to the owner. There is so much information in here about the movie and how it was made. Tons of photos and replicas of some of the vehicles. The owners are friendly and were very interesting to talk to. It's just one of those places you have to visit.

Definitely paradise for the Mad Max movie fans. Loaded of collection that are well kept in the museum. Worthwhile drive to this town for us.

Excellent, fantastic display. Alot of memorabilia. The owners and staff are very friendly and had a great chat with them . Highly recommended. Don't forget to drive to Mundi Mundi lookout,the opening and closing scenes of the film which is close by.

A great place to check out in the wastelands if you're a fan of Mad Max 2. With props, scripts, vehicles and lots of behind the scenes photos it's well worth a visit.But then, if you're a Mad Max fan and you're anywhere near Broken Hill you're gonna check this place out anyway.
