Tried the burger which was absolutely delicious. Good selection of beer. Staffs were friendly, interior is nice and cosy with an outside sitting area. Only hope they bring back the Sunday Roast

Went here on a cold rainy Saturday arvo. Nice to see a real wood fire! Decent selection of beers and very friendly bar staff. Didn’t eat but menu looked good if a bit higher priced than average pub prices. It’s clear they’ve spent some money on improvements and it looks pretty good, nice beer garden out the back.

Wow! Midlands Gem!Ordered the Garlic Prawns and they were the best I have ever had!Also we had the Jambalaya! Being a foody its great to see them using all homemade stock and fresh produce from their own garden.Will def be back! Great service from a family owned and run local pub.Kicking goals!

Was clean and tidy staff were pleasant good range of beers, but once the cooks started cooking the place filled with the oily smoke smell extremely strong that I had to go outside but it was just as bad out the back.Never ate their as I didn't want to stay too long. Otherwise, the smoke would have permeated my clothes, and that would have just ruined the rest of my day.

Have been to this place a few times now.The pub itself has been revamped and has a real welcoming feel to while keeping its old charm.The staff are friendly and very accommodating.. Have always been welcomed in with a hello" and a smile.They have a good range of drinks.. something for everyone.Recently they have had a change to the menu and it didn't go unnoticed. You cannot go past their poppers or the sticky wings! Always a favourite with us.The main meals themselves are a good serve and have never disappointed.Overall

Had lunch today at The Commercial Bar & Kitchen in Midland. Wow what a wonderful surprise. A beautiful bar and amazing kitchen.The pub was revamped last May and has a nice welcoming feel, while keeping its old charm. They have done a great job with the renovations. There is a lovely bar area, separate dining room and spacious bar garden/ gazebo area.The staff are friendly and very accommodating.We ordered market fish of the day which was Cajun snapper fillets served with sweet potato wedges, corn and coleslaw, BBQPork ribs and the special of the day for $20 which was crispy chicken wings. We also had creme brulee and sticky date pudding for dessert. The meals came out quickly and were delicious. Service was excellent and the we were all very happy with the food serving sizes. There's a great selection of beers on tap and other beverages. This place is a real hidden gem in Midland. There is plenty of parking at the back of the hotel as well as street parking. Nice that the great refurbished vibe of the place matched the food and service! Will definitely be going back!
