Tiger Bread Bakery & Café
Decided to grab lunch from Tiger Bread Bakery & Cafe today. With every Banh Mi place I go to, I always order the cold meats (listed as ‘Vietnamese Pork Roll’ on their menu) as a baseline.It was fantastic. The tiger bread crust was nice and crunchy that offered a hint of sweetness where it was caramelised. Bit different to your typical banh mi bakery. Could not fault the mayo, pate and salad.It will not be your cup of tea if you’re into crispy pork (because it’s not in the menu). Also, the grilled pork roll on their menu is not what westerners will expect, as it’s actually similar to a grilled pork meat loaf aka banh mi nem nuong. The markdowns seen in other reviews are a little unfair.They probably need to rename that item as the area gets more gentrified so it’s easier to understand for non-Vietnamese customers I suppose?

Wow! Delicious BBQ pork roll and the bread is absolutely divine! Crispy and soft!The ingredients are fresh and the roll isn't over the top - just how it's traditionally meant to be! I highly recommend this place. For $8, I would say this is reasonable.

Located in the main CBD of Flemmington is a non descript Vietnamese Bakery.A colleague who doubles as a fairly popular food blogger suggested this for lunch.Friendly service.Bahm Mi's on offer.Tiger bread was soft and the BBQ chicken was hot, fresh and a great addition.Cost of $8.00.Well worth the visit.

$8 Vietnamese tiger rollI have try a lot of banh mi before that I can say this is not the best one I have taste. And the meat is pretty different to another, but not bad.And and and I need to say the tiger bread is absolutely the best one that I never tasted it before!!! It left such a pleasant aftertaste in my mouth. And of course crispy and soft.I can eat this awesome bread every day.

The best Bahn Mi in town. Always fresh and delicious. Tiger bread is super crunchy on the outside and warm and soft inside. The grilled pork is a must try.
