MBSR - Melbourne Mindfulness Foundation
As someone who had never really done that meditation before I really enjoyed the 6 week learn to meditate course. In a world with so much technology it seems that we are always connected and always switched on. It's so nice to have some respite from that. I learnt so many techniques which I still draw on some in my everyday life. Alana and Sabina were wonderful mentors. The class was really friendly and and I looked forward to going each week. I talked my husband into joining, after much protest on his part but even he really loved it. I have also attended a silent retreat run through the Mindfulness foundation and loved it! Would highly recommend to anyone.

My experience with Melbourne Mindfulness Foundation gave me first class insight into Meditation and Mindful techniques. Since my course I have become more at ease with myself and thus being more at ease with others. This is a valuable life skill that I am very grateful to have learned and will continue to practice. Having attended the Meditation course it helped me realise the importance of focusing my mind and trying not to let multiple thoughts overwhelm me at times. The facilitator was knowledgeable and engaging and had a genuine interest in the wellbeing of those in her course.I felt a real sense of peace and am excited about having developed some practical strategies to aid me in my daily life.It was time well spent and I look forward to implementing what I have learnt.Thank you for the opportunity to attend the course. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

I attended the 6 week meditation course and during that time learnt some really practical, simple ways to incorporate various meditation techniques into my daily life and to be more mindful. Fantastic program run by the team. The 6 week course taught me how to be more present, harness my constantly running thoughts and simply switch into a calmer state of living. As someone who constantly is running a million miles an hour, this course provided tools to assist me in living in the moment and be able to focus my thoughts. Highly Recommend!
