SMK Rural and Mechanical

I went to SMK because of its good reviews. At first girls on reception were friendly. SMK took my car door off took parts out to send away ($150)I rang them 4 days later to see if my parts were on the way back. They said haven't heard. They rang Browns transport to find out that it was still sitting in their location. !! They knew this was a really urgent order so I wouldOf thought SMK would have followed up on my delivery ?? I have to travel 1200klms to an outback town now with no drivers window fixed and no mechanics in our town to repair it.If I hadn't rung SMK to find out the situation Where would my parts have ended up?? I was so exasperated I was speechless. Unreal.. not happy at all.

Great service at a great price. Went out of their way to help fix an ongoing problem with my Prado that no one else had been able to solve!Always do their best to fit the car in and source the parts for the best price.Awesome little family business CQ should get behind.

Interstate traveller, needed inspection on a Saturday morning. One of few mechanics open. Full cheers to Scott for helping me out, and giving me peace of mind to get home to NSW. Honest, friendly and competent.

We were in Rockhampton for 1 night when we had mechanical issues on a Friday evening. We found Scott from SMK online and what a blessing that was. We arranged to have our vehicle delivered to him next morning. When we arrived 15 minutes after the car he was right into it. We found Scott to be thorough, knowledgeable and personable.a little over 3 hours later we were on the road back to Brisbane.Extremely happy with the service and value. We also had confidence that the problem was fixed, not just patched up.Totally recommend Scot and SMK Rural and Mechanical.
