Absolutely disgusting and rude nurses... Everytime I have gone in there I have been in serious pain or unable to breath and I cop the most rudest nurses of all time. If I could give the people that work at front desk 5 stars I would. But yeppoon hospital, you need to really look at who you are hiring. Just because they may be qualified doesn't mean they are qualified in charisma, it's not hard to be nice.. it will be reported

Beautiful building, shame about our experience. Bombarded by questions from administration Helen. My wife is immune comprised, came in for a transfusion, had to share a room with a fellow with a respiratory illness. Definitely not representative of Qld hospital

My partner has been in and out with a leg problem over the last week. Her anxiety of hospitals is debilitating but never has she been treated so well. Such a quick and supportive hospital. The receptionist tries to make her feel comfortable. The different doctors she’s seen have been amazing. So so so impressed. Made her feel comfortable and not silly for being scared. So impressed.

Really disappointed and upset with the patient care and service tonight. I followed the telehealth advice to go to emergency after my covid symptoms worsened throughout the day. I called ahead and also when I arrived so that I knew where to go being covid positive. I sat outside for 2.5hrs before a nurse talked to me and asked what I had come in for. I understand it's harder with an infectious disease and there are many other emergencies but someone absolutely should have come out to triage me or I even would have appreciated a phone call to update me on what I needed to do. I even called an hr into my wait to ask if I could wait in my car where I could lie down because my body aches where the worst I had ever had. I was told no so I ended up lying on the concrete floor with my bag as a pillow at 9pm crying and no one checked to see if I was OK. I didnt know if i could take my pain relief when it was due because not one person came to talk to me and give me advice. By the time a nurse came out, she said there wasn't anything they could do even though all the other advice I had been given pointed towards serious covid symptoms that were progressively getting worse.I honestly wish I had driven the extra hour to Rockhampton Hospital for better patient care even though it was a struggle for me to just drive down to Yeppoon.

What a great hospital, the best I have visited. I was seen very promptly, staff were friendly. XRayed and seen by doctor, on my way 45 minutes later.

Great staff and facility. Always been treated well

I was wanting to see a friend who is elderly and in a frail state. There is no specific time for visiting. I went in mid afternoon thinking it would be between meal times. I was asked to wait..... And I did.... And after an hour I gave up. No reason for not allowing me to see her. Very disappointed.

Just spent the last 24 hours there wonderful Doctors and staff I was well looked after

I had my midwife care from Marty and Stacy and can honestly say I've never felt in better hands. Amazing women who made me feel safe and cared for the whole process of pregnancy and child birth.
