Postman's Track Trails
Peaceful & secluded, maintained trails for hikers, horse & mountain bikes. Remnant trees, scrub recovering after almost 50 yrs of no farming, some cattle still access but unseen so far, plenty of birds, occasional roo & snake, both harmless if undisturbed. Parking at end of postman's track, cameras for wildlife and feral surveillance occasionally spotted. Some steep hills on some trails. Good hike. Rare encounter with young doe.

Bad thing: temporary closed , without explanation and without time limit. Owners clearly don’t care about the public. Good thing: for bird watching the road is just as good: nearly no traffic, bell miners all over the place and I saw Yellow-tailed Black-cockatoo and Painted Buttonquial.

Extremely quiet, natural & beautiful trails, just about the right distances, walking along the creeks was great fun, stay on paths or you'll startle the roos resting in deep grass.

A great set of tracks for hiking, cycling and birdwatching (heaps of species even just at the car park). Check the map at the car park as entering some areas require a permit from SEQ Water.
