If you eat meat you need to try this butchers. It is the best of all worlds for carnivores, ethically produced top quality meat products, from local sources. We love this place, the food is superb and reasonably priced, the service is old style and friendly, and emphasis always on sustainability and quality.

We stayed at a nearby airbnb recently and found this gem. The owner and butcher (Andrea) was so helpful and knew his meats. Amazing quality and taste. Will definitely return when next down the Peninsula.

Outstanding butcher - premium, local and ethically sourced meat. I have become a regular and everything I have purchased has been truly excellent. Andrea is so pleasant, helpful and obviously passionate about his produce. Wish I could give Ministry of Meat more than 5 stars.

We were in Dromana, down from Frankston, on Sunday 21st August and stumbled across the Butcher. We purchased 5 of the lamb burgers and I have to say that they are, without any shadow of a doubt, the best burgers I've ever bought. Simply stunning!!Even after being frozen and then defrosted, they retained their shape and flavour! Amazing!!We will be making (costly) trips down to to re-stock.

Weekend down the peninsula, needed meat for a BBQ. This place sold me some of the best beef scotch fillets I have had in a long long time and ground fresh for me some top notch burgers. I love the fact all beef here is grass fed, I really prefer it over grain. Had a nice chat with the owner, Andrea, who is very knowledgable and pleasant indeed.Wish I lived a bit closer so this place could be my local butcher...

Very friendly and accommodating staff arrived right on closing and they still served me. Purchased 2 T Bones and they were juicy and great taste.HIGHLY recommend

Phenomenal butcher, don't bother going anywhere else, you definitely get what you pay for as the steaks, lamb cutlets and made in house snags are amazing quality, just to name a few items. Nothing is too hard for the legend owner Andy and he will do special orders for you if you need nutritious organs or other parts of the animal, which he is very knowledgeable about.10/10 Shop cant fault them.

We've now lived on the Mornington Peninsula for 3.5 years, and the Scotch Fillet from Ministry of Meat was - without exaggeration - the best beef we have cooked and eaten in that time. We are now looking forward to the lamb roast we purchased.We have now found our go-to Butcher for meat.
