Such a racist place! They treat muslims and hijabis so poorly, the girls there and also the manager laughed at us whispering!!! Stupid people! Shame on you! Learn to respect other ethnicities and religious people!

Best bread, best croissants and the Persian Love cake may be the best cake of all time. The entrance is no longer in a van behind the roller doors as the previous review states. Look for the glass doors near the corner.

Sold day old - or older - inedible croissants. Disgusting. The audacity to think it's acceptable is staggering. Expensive too.

Loves this small bakery that opened in Marrickville. They were in Redfern for a long time and I visited few times there. But now it is closer to my home. Happy!

We absolutely luv the Kaya cake! It’s such an incredibly delicious tasting cake the fact that it’s vegan & nut free is amazing. It’s our go to every time. The staff are extremely friendly & have gone above & beyond expectations. Thank you!

Great bakery that supplies a lot of the local cafes with sourdough. We love the sourdough and selection of pastries and crossionts they have here each morning. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

Okay, this place is a little hard to find. I wandered up and down Sydney Street a few times, eyeing every individual place and mistakenly thinking it was located inside the seamstress place opposite. It's actually a tiny little van that's located just at the entrance to the Brickfield's warehouse. It's very unassuming, identifiable eventually only because I saw a man emerge from under a half-opened warehouse roller door with a croissant. Upon second glance, there's a small black and white sign that reads 'BREAD'. Duck inside, under the roller door, and there's a tiny little blue van that's been set up with an array of croissants (both plain and chocolate) and a decent variety of fresh loaves. There was one staff member manning this little blue van that was sitting against the backdrop of a bustling warehouse, with whirring machines and beeping forklifts. It feels like a little bit of a local secret for the countless individuals who work at the extensive industrial warehouse portion of Marrickville. As for the croissants, they were delicious and fresh. I can only assume that they're cooked metres away inside, and then moved by hand to the van for selling. I've attached some pictures for those ever in Marrickville who want a fat loaf or warm croissant. Don't forget though - this is not a cafe! No sitting down. This is simply a van, man.

I visit this bakery often and try something different each time. All the bread loaves are so beautiful and made fresh, I tried the Black Sesame cookie today and it was so delicious! Cannot wait to go back for more! Plus, the lovely staff member who is always there is just so pleasant, friendly and helpful!

Not only their banana bread is the best I've ever eaten, but their people are rock stars. Had the pleasure to be served by the lovely Sally on a Sunny Saturday afternoon. She's the best. Big smile big heart, great vibrations.

Friendly staff - came here last minute for a cake without pre-ordering and they have every cake (on website) available. Just had to wait 5 minutes for the cake to be prepared. Ordered the vegan chocolate Kaya cake and it was delicious, moist and not too sweet. Last time I ordered a cake, I purchased the zucchini and spelt cake, and that was YUM! And healthier than ur regular cakes. Would highly recommend this place for ur cake needs, even if you have forgotten to pre-order one!
