Everyone was so lovely. We visited dr Rhys and he was so great with my 2 yr old! This will become our regular family GP.

Staff and both nurse and doctor were very attentive, maybe I was lucky, between examination to see the doctor and drug & alcohol test lasted less than an hour. Lovely people, very clean, and nice to talk to them, they didn't keep me waiting, examination and consult was flawless. 5 stars I would recommend South Street Medical Centre.

Hello, I am providing constructive feedback from my own experience as I have never left a negative review on google reviews before, although I believe this situation requires one. Not my regular medical practice, but i was in immense pain so I needed to get seen/test done due to unexplained pain/infection impairing my quality of life. I feel i was treated unethically and unprofessionally. Ineffective communication behaviour and language tone of continuous screaming, yelling, body language, i felt threatened and unsafe, i felt i was going to get attacked as i observed behaviour of bright red face, facing toward me and eyes widened not breaking eye contact whilst yelling at me, I felt the power imbalance, emotionally affecting me deeply. I feel the negligence of answering my concerns and questions were dismissed, treatment outcomes/variables were not addressed after asking; i received a prescription and it felt like i was being rushed to get out, accompanied with screaming after asking for clarification and as a patient i prefer to rely on the advice of the professional and not google. I am writing this as I do not want this happening to anyone else. I am serious when I say I traumatised, i do not say that lightly. Conclusively, I do not recommend based on my personal values of health and safety. My personal experience was shockingly terrifying.

I have been coming to this medical centre for the last 10 years. The doctors are very detailed and staff very attentive. Cannot recommend highly enough.

I had an appointment with a dr presenting quite unwell to be told I would need to do a sputum test which took over 5 days to come back, in which the extremely rude receptionist tells me that I need to spend another $65 on top of the $80 I’ve already spent in my initial consult after being told I would be called by the doctor, whether I would require antibiotics or not. The receptionist was extremely rude to me on the phone which has cemented me never to come back, especially after this medical centre being my choice of service for the past 23years. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND AGAIN! And your receptionist really need to learn some manners.

Last week i had an appointment with one male doctor and the service i received was extremely rude, didnt seem to care and response provided was always like well i dont know as i dont have a child this age anymore so i cannot provide good advice". shocking as he is a DOCTOR."

Great doctors they are very good only thing I would say is that you should be told if it’s a long appointment no surprise when finishing the appointment. When I booked in for a standard consultation in the first place.Hannah Mill

Lovely doctors .. always very clean.. and don't usually have to wait too long. The staff at the front are always very friendly.

Unfortunately they are all about the money now they have gone private! Be prepared to be stung people even to the point we’re you missed an appointment because your in hospital they will sting you for $50 for a missed appointment totally all about the money very sad and greedy medical centre!Never againAfter stating the above I have since spoken to the office manager who very kindly reversed the fee and she clearly stated they are not all about the moneyShe was very understanding and apologised for the fee.Thank you, your help was really appreciated.

Being going here for over 20 years. It used to be good but now all they care about is money. So many different rules now. Before 8am, after 5pm, Saturdays. If you work full-time you are being penalised. And can't even get to see my doctor I had seen for 20years. If you don't have loyalty to this place go elsewhere as only care about the money.
