We went to Tanatan after reading the reviews and were a little disappointed with the food.The customer service and ambiencewere top notch though.The sabzi was watery and bland, in spite of asking for spicy.The staff was very apologetic though, so to give them the benefit of doubt, will give it another go another time, hopefully it’s better next time around.

30 March 2023. I was visiting the area and looked on google for an Indian Restaurant I had chosen another, then when checking I saw the reviews for this one, so I decided to visit the Tanatan, what a very good choice that turned out to be, it was early evening and the restaurant had only just opened. The waitress was most polite and helpful, gave me plenty of time to chose my meal, and after serving asked a few times if every thing was ok. During my visit the owner arrived, he came to chat with me again what a very nice man, easy to speak with, I being from the UK and a frequent visitor to Indian Restaurants not only in the UK, where we have our favourite local restaurant. This is an authentic Indian Restaurant I had a Chicken Biriani of true Indian recipe, with Garlic Bread, I now wish I had taken poppadum's, pickle tray and starters, the potion was most generous and the taste perfect, the wine was nice also. I told the owner, Shanti I hope that is correct sir, that I will be returning to visit him with my wife at the end of the year. If you do not believe my review then go and judge for yourself. My wife and I will definitely by returning on our next visit to Perth WA Thank you both for a fantastic me and a warm welcome. Richard this will go onto TripAdvisor under RicRicardo.

Food (a vegetable curry and the lamb saag) were delicately flavoured, and a refreshing surprise - to taste an array of spices rather than a simply hot and salty curry. Lamb sag had generous chunks of tender meat, in a lovely sauce, and the plain nan was nice and thin (so not too heavy as they can be). Staff were friendly and very attentive. White table cloths and background music with Indian themed artwork give it a nice upmarket feeling, and a pleasant dining experience. 10/10 to the chef for great food - I will be back!

If you're looking for a taste of India, this restaurant will take you on a delicious journey that you won't forget! From the colorful decor to the authentic music, it was like stepping into a Bollywood movie.As for the food, it was a flavor explosion in my mouth! I was pleasantly surprised by the range of vegetarian options available - I could have easily gone without meat for a month! The spice level was just right for me, but if you're not into spicy food, don't worry, they have milder options too.The service was top-notch, our server was attentive and friendly, making us feel like we were dining with family. They even recommended some dishes that we would never have tried otherwise.Overall, I had a wonderful time at this Indian restaurant, and I can't wait to go back and try more of their amazing dishes. If you're looking for a fun and flavorful night out, this is the place to be!

Waitress was amazing.. smiling happy and very good recommendations. Vindaloo was sublime. Garlic bread was supremely delicious. Vege dish Korma sauce was out of this world.

Venue too large and bright. Needs more atmosphere. Dim the lights and break up space. You have 2 high quality Indian restaurants next door to you. What is your point of difference?

This new restaurant in Innaloo is a class apart. Notably the service , extremely polite and considerate. The reso is co owned by the chef and it shows in the carefully prepared and presented dishes. We had the favourite Amritsari kulcha and absolutely loved it. Masala chai was freshly prepared, however would have preferred it be served in glassware instead of paper cup. Definitely give this place a try

We had dinner with family and food was extremely best. Chef vinay is very knowledgeable and passionate about the food.If you are vegetarian Must try palak paneer, Panir kadhai with chilli naan.Keep up the good work team.

Food was really tasty. The naan bread was exactly how it should be, not too thick like some other restaurants.The curry was homemade quality…no unwanted excess oil.. The starter Tandoori prawns was well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Their hospitality and service was top class, the staff kept filling up our glasses and checking politely if the food is of our liking etc. Ambience inside was quite elegant and authentic style, with heaps of dining space and clean and tidy tables with clean linen. Clean and well maintained restrooms. Quite happy with the overall experience and would recommend this as a Perfect place for a nice fine dining experience.
