The Plumbing and Gas Guys WA

WaterCorp called out to do maintenance on my meter connection. The next day I noticed a leak and the ground was sodden. I called the Plumbing and Gas guys and they came out. A repair was done and I was advised by the young plumber that I would be given a refund from Watercorp as he would put in a report advising that the leak was caused by their maintenance work. I waited 3 months and no refund. i contacted Plumbing and Gas guys and was told it was my responsibility to make the claim. I emailed them and asked why they told me they would make the claim on my behalf and if this wasn't the case why their employee told me so and if they had told their employees not to tell customers the wrong information. They provided no answer. Update: WaterCorp have advised me they have received no report and can't look at a refund until they receive one. I have contacted Plumbing and Gas Guys but they haven't answered my emails. Give them a wide berth.

My wife contacted this company to install our new free standing cooker. This is how it was left with the advice to use an extension lead to the nearest outlet. Very disappointing.

Horrible Service, Waste of time and money. Very unprofessional and over priced. Don't even bother considering, Would give Zero Stars if I could.

Arranged for these people to install a new bath. Was advised estimated time at 2-2.5 hours. Job took 6.5 hours and was slugged $700 for the privilege. That was after I assisted the plumber lift the bath in and out approx 8 times and helped clean up the mess. Plumber turned up without sand or cement and had to leave site which I know doubt paid for.I’ve left 3 messages for call back and no one has called back.Appalling service coupled with over charging guarantees the additional work will now go to another plumber and I will certainly be advising everyone I know NOT to use this terribly company.

We used The Plumbing and Gas Guys to repair a leaking fitting on our solar hot water system. The leak was repaired but at the cost of flooding our house: the manual pressure release lever they used to de-pressure the system was left stuck open, gushing into a semi-enclosed area faster than it could drain and eventually flowed into the living room, bedroom, garage and laundry.We were extremely lucky to have polished concrete floors so escaped with only minor property damage after a MAJOR cleanup effort.Our complaint was supposedly passed onto the Director, I say supposedly" because he never responded and further communication was again met with radio silence.Just shocking

Poor quality workmanship and expensive too. No such thing as a free quote as advertised, provided you want the guy to get out of his van. At which point you get stung. Called out for simple tap repair. Young fellow, inexperienced. Took extra time dallying around to ensure that we moved into another time slot, then charged me for the full slot (only 3 mins into it). We have had to call out another plumber to redo his work. He had fitted a tap with no washer!Be warned.

A bit shocked to find that it's $180.00 per hour. I Was given a quote over the phone for $600 to swap out a toilet and a install a simple vanity taking out the old. When the plumber turned up I did not confirm with him the cost but throughout the day there was no communication until a $1600 bill given at the end of the day. His explanation was it wasn't a straight swap with a few complications. I understand that it was a full day's work of 8 hours but I was surprised at the high hourly rate of $180.00 per hour plus a few parts. This is just a warning to others to be aware and shop around before deciding. I know that you get what you pay for but I don't think it was fair for the amount I paid. Also a very sloppy finish unfortunately my pictures won't upload.

Can't speak highly enough of this plumbing company. They really listened to our needs, came up with creative solutions and ensured we got value for money. They were also polite, courteous, understanding and on time

They arrived on time to quote my work and said they’re keen for the work and will send a quote in a couple of days. I called after a week and the call centre said they would have someone call me back asap. No one called and I did this another four times and also sent emails. Nobody ever called back and I obviously didn’t receive a quote.The business is completely unprofessional and are not reliable. Don’t quote for work if you don’t want the work or call people back and say you don’t want the work. Don’t waste peoples time

Needed to do a simple swap of an electric storage tank. The website gives a good idea of the expected price so you can shop around.In the end their quote was 38% cheaper than Pascoe's so it was a no-brainer. Called them Monday, job booked in and finished 24 hours later. Too easy.
