Petrie parkrun
A lovely place to run or walk. Well maintained track with excercise equipment and park benches. Easy parking and toilet facilities close at the park. Love the river views and the beautiful trees.

Petrie parkrun
The Petrie parkrun is a fun, free event organised by volunteers at 7am every Saturday. This 5km event is an out and back course along the picturesque North Pine River, starting from Sweeney Reserve and heading in a westerly direction. The course is run entirely on concrete paths and mostly flat, with a slight rise at the beginning and the end of the run.

Organised well. Nice and shady most of the way. Follows the river and nice scenery. Hill at start a killer. Awesome and challenging course.

Petrie parkrun
Amazing community and very beautiful run through Sweeney’s reserve. Occasionally you get to see Koalas and other wildlife. A few hills at the beginning keep it interesting.
