Australia Post - Weston Creek Post Shop

Quite an unpleasant experience with one particular staff member at the cooleman court location. I believe her name is Sofia (women with brown shoulder length hair with a fringe, glasses and a permanent stink face). As soon as I entered the post office, I could hear her speaking to customers disrespectfully and loud for everybody to hear. After a long wait in the line, I was rudely waved over and greeted with a grunt and dirty look. It was clear that she was inconvenienced and stressed by the amount of people needing to be served and made no efforts to hide it.I asked if she was able to put fragile tape on the packages (as I was sending scissors to be sharpened and didn’t want them to be damaged on route) to which she bluntly said that they didn’t use fragile tape and then proceeded to tell me how I should of packed them so that they didn’t get damaged, I told her that I wrapped them in a few layers of bubble wrap and that it shouldn’t be an issue as long as they are not thrown around. She then remembered that somebody had left a roll of tape and was able to use that, I have never been to a post office that doesn’t supply fragile stickers/tape before.She then tried to criticise me for sending the scissors off in separate parcels, I explained to her that I was sending off scissors for myself and my co-workers and that we didn’t want to lose all our scissors if they were to get lost in transit. It was clear that she was annoyed that she had to put in the details multiple times, separately.Would have given a rating of 0 stars but Stewart, the postal manager was extremely pleasant and polite so have given 1 out of 5 stars.

They did not even leave a we missed you card (and of course I was home) I had to track and find it at the post office myself.Really horrible they really need to hire better delivery people who actually care. And fix their missing package service that just takes months. They are totally understaffed for such an important role. Even though I had priorities because I lost medicine it still took months to even get a response.Ridiculous.Really it’s like we’re living in rural Bulgaria

Slowest and worst service in Canberra the staff walk around like they don’t care and take about 10 minutes to go and collect allocate parcels from the back

This post office don’t require appointments for passports and passport photos meaning you’re likely to be stuck in line behind five people submitting passport applications. It takes at least 40 minutes to do something simple like collect a parcel. Unfortunately this is the local post office for our area but otherwise I’d avoid it entirely

Worst post office to deal with. Not really concerned with customer service and try very hard to fob you off. Everything is too hard and you can tell they just want 5pm to roll around so they can go home.

Australia post has terrible protocols in place which disadvantages everyone who does not live in a typical city/suburban environment. Anywhere deemed “rural” is classed as roadside delivery, meaning the driver can decide whether or not to delivery the item, or just leave a card in the mail box. Every delivery from Auspost I end up having to drive for an hour, wait in line for at least 20 minutes get my package and drive home again. Half the time I have to askSomeone to drive me as the item won’t fit in my car (hence you know, buying online and paying shipping for said item). Every single other delivery company are happy to drive down a driveway to leave my items yet Australia post refuses to even entrain the idea. It’s ridiculous that we have to pay for delivery only to have to drive all that way whilst wasting petrol because of ridiculous protocols. I like now ask when placing orders if it’s at all possible to steer clear of Australia post as a delivery provider

Slowest Post Office, I regularly have to wait at least 30 min in a que just for parcel pick up. This poor place is over run and under staffed. No weekend pick up even though letter box parcel ticket states collection available on Saturdays

Disappointing decline in what used to be a good post office with lovely staff and good service. Long wait times no matter when you go, lines out the door, staff don't pick up the pace when it's busy, errors, etc. I will now go to literally any other post office in Canberra to avoid this place. Unfortunately, now they've closed the parcel window, going in will be unavoidable.

Without being rude, every time I’ve ever come in the line is out the door, and the staff move like nobody’s here. I’m practically here for 15-25 every time just to pick up a parcel!

The staff are extremely rude, making it an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. I would recommend avoiding this post office.Standard visit for a parcel return and to ask about returning a parcel delivered to my address that did not belong to me.Like always, wait lines are a little long but nothing ridiculous.An older Caucasian lady served me. She didn’t greet me and looked incredibly inconvenienced from the beginning. After explaining the parcel situation she raised her voice and criticised me for failing to bring the parcel (that didn’t belong to me) immediately after receiving it, not taking into account it is very difficult for full time workers to access the PO during their very limited opening hours. Her colleague processed my return and had an equally poor attitude. I understand work can be draining but this level of customer service is disgusting.
