Lachlan Walker from Salvos Funerals was such a terrific help to me and my family with the unexpected passing of my father. He helped from start to finish organising all of the paperwork and assisting with all the arrangements quickly and efficiently. Salvos Funerals have been there for us twice at very difficult times when we have lost loved ones and needed guidance and support to arrange and conduct funerals that are not only respectful and befitting of the loved ones we paid tribute to but reasonably priced compared to many other funeral services. Their staff and associates were patient and understanding and couldn’t be more helpful in arranging beautiful, personal funerals and taking care of the administrative processes without overwhelming grieving family and friends with worry and unnecessary distractions. I would highly recommend Salvos Funerals to anyone needing the kind of services they provide.

The Salvos were wonderful, just what we needed at a sad time.The only disappointment was the design and printing of the Order of Service. The Salvos give you the option of using a company called Purelight. Their creative skills and attention to detail was poor, they tried to put their logo and phone number all over it, and they wouldn't send a final soft copy without an extra $125 payment.Go with the Salvos, but not with Deborah Beneke @ Purelight.

From the moment I contacted Lachlan following the passing of my husband from leukaemia in April, the care, love and support shown was more than I could ask for. Lachlan explained everything that needed to happen clearly and compassionately, and was in contact throughout the entire process. Gav was looked after beautifully and I am so grateful for the care given to both of us. The Salvation Army is my church and it was an easy decision to contact Salvos Funerals to take care of Gav. We were recommended the Salvation Army for the funeral service of our mother by a close friend. Marc Allison was so helpful from my first inquiry. Being someone who had no experience at all in arranging a funeral and feeling quite lost with how to proceed, Marc’s sensitive and thoughtful guidance through each step helped us arrange a service we were very happy with and a fitting tribute for our dear Mother. I lost my partner in November 2019, and recently lost my mum in June 2020. Both times I looked to the Salvation Army for guidance and advice. Phillip Stonely and his team were very compassionate and helpful in every aspect. They were never pushy and allowed us to have the service our loved ones deserved the way we wanted it. Salvo's funerals assisted in the funeral of my Uncle David, where I was leading and preaching. They were professional and thoughtful throughout. Savos Funerals is the absolute best! I must say. I lost my son at 22yrs old. They pain is unbearable. But they make it seem so easy for my family and were very patient in tucking me through all the necessary process involved to give my dear son a befitting burial. May God Bless you all that involved. Both my brothers died within 2 years in central NSW & Salvos Funerals were partly involved in both interments . I cannot speak highly enough of the organisation or the people in it.
