Kalimna Jetty Walk
we loved our time here fishing for crabs and enjoying the wildlife around us on the stunning piece of land. pelicans and swans as well as other wildlife are up close and crabs are plentiful and delicious we even caught a beautiful seahorse and pictured it before releasing it back to its watery world

Kalimna Jetty Walk
Not a great place for kids to swim as the tide runs hard here, good spot for fishing but also neg to pick the tide. Great place catch crabs for baitAlso enjoyable to use the tide to advantage and ride along the rock wall with mask and snorkel

Kalimna Jetty Walk
We stayed at the Absolute Motel so I enjoyed this track often. Starting at the lookout, motel or the Kalimna Hotel I prefer to head down the stairs from the Hotel to the jetty and walk along the wall, so in an anti-clockwise direction so I have the challenging road hill to walk back up, although it was much easier than I thought it would be. 35 minutes and 3.27km and I've finished. Alternatively, I've ridden my bike in the opposite direction down the road hill then along the Kalimna wall to the jetty but the walk up Kalimna Jetty Rd pushing my bike is a heart raiser. Loved it. Excellent jetty, a variety of fish are around, unfortunately the tide can run pretty fast so you may need to keep an eye open for the right time of day to fish.

Kalimna Jetty Walk
Very crowded for fishing or crabbing. But not many other options around. Sunset views are still spectacular. A lot of pelicans by the jetty waiting for a feed & we were visited by the local seal.

Great remote fishing spot. Good crabbing spot when the crabs are there. Almost always caught a seahorse or two accidentally in the crab nets, which are caught in their natural setting, which were always safely released back to water. Good clean public toilets nearby too. Decent neighbours comes for walks.

Kalimna Jetty Walk
Sunshine or rain, dusk or dawn, it's a great little walk. Enjoy the serenity or try and catch a glimpse of the dolphins or seals that could be passing by but be quick with the camera as they're gone pretty quickly.
