Came to buy a PlayStation gift card and Assassins Creed Unity. Lesley served me. She was incredibly helpful, and also had a short discussion with me about the Assassins Creed series. Incredible service

My son purchased a head set the other day and was told it was compatible with a Nintendo switch. After paying $100 for it brought it home and the mic does not work. Rode his bike to the store today to exchange for one that is compatible and they wouldn’t exchange or refund at all. It’s faulty and they wouldn’t do anything about it. He came home so upset as he is an ASD teen and burst into tears saying that they wouldn’t believe him that it was faulty and that the staff member was a mean man. . I rang them up only to find that the staff member was rude and wouldn’t listen to me, he said that he did a diagnostic test on the headset and he said it worked for him, my son said that all he did was test it on his phone, well that isn’t a Nintendo switch is it. Also looked on the switch for settings for headset microphones like he told me to and there isn’t such thing. They sold my son a headset that clearly isn’t compatible with a switch and wouldn’t take it back with receipt and all packaging. They told him due to hygiene reasons they can’t take it back. What made it worse was when I called him out on his bluff on the phone he hung up on me. Wouldn’t listen to me when I was telling him that he told something different to my son. I’m absolutely appalled, now my son is stuck with a $100 headset that doesn’t work which he saved up for. The customer service both my son and I received today was disgusting. My son is shaken up and now will take some time to calm down and have faith in humanity again.

Went here on a whim and regretted it. I bought a 2nd hand ps5 controller and it wasn't what I was looking for. Went back to refund it and was denied a refund for either a 'swap or trade'. I ended up buying a new controller instead and could've gotten a better price somewhere else (Costco). The staff member was also very assertive and not very consumer friendly. Like c'mon man, just do what the customer is asking you to do (worked in hospitality before and have done a better job to customers).Please try and avoid this store if the staff member is slightly rude and go to a different one. Cause I've had better service at north lakes and Deception bay.Edit: Staff member who served today was Matthew. Very assertive and said I couldn't get a refund on an unopened pre-owned I bought an hour before. Most likely will have to state Australian consumer law if you want to be successful.

Easily the worst EB I've been to. Staffer playing on his phone when I entered, very little stock and what stock (games) they had was a shambles. Mind you I was the only customer and this was 30 mins after open so clearly ZFG to store appearance. Asked him to do me a favour, refund and rebuy my click and collect so I could take advantage of the buy one get one half price, he wouldn't do it where other stores happily do it. Overall quite an extremely disappointing and underwhelming experience indeed.

I had by far the best EBgames experience today at harbour town.I first called the store to find out information about the Nintendo switch. I spoke to Bronte Hood. She answered my questions quick and easily. Giving me all the intrusions I would need for when I came into the store.I arrived at EBgames with the switch in hand with all the equipment that was needed to be included. I was greeted my Bronte at the front counter with an amazing smile and popping personality. Bronte was the definition of great customer service. My enquire was finish in a matter of minutes. I left the store with a smile on my face, leaving my day a little brighter.If you need any help at EBgames I recommend Bronte.
