If only it was possible to give less than 1 star. This firm is corrupt and incompetent.I carried out one return through AG Norman and have faced countless issues since. It was the first return I did with my current employer as was advised that they were familiar with the process, so I sought some guidance on what I could claim. At first I came away quite happy with my return, but that was short lived. I ended up getting audited because Alan developed such a bad reputation with the ATO that all his clients were flagged. I had been coerced into over claiming by Peter, who did not advise me on reasonable deductions, and to top it off, he failed to enter my private health details correctly and I had to pay back thousands of dollars in arrears. Not something you'd expect from an accountant of 18 years.When I confronted them about this, I was told that they would be in contact with me about a solution but never heard back. Please avoid these people at all costs.

Alan from AG Norman has been doing my tax for the past 7 years (and I happily drive from Brisbane to see him). He provides an exceptionally great and professional service. I found he always has the right advice and has been able to maximize my tax return while making the process a breeze. I have sent many of my friends and co-workers to him and all are very tankful of the outcome. Cannot recommend him high enough.

Update! *Agent now under watch from ombudsman for theft!After a lengthy battle this agent was forced to return 160 dollars that was wilfully stolen by them. Beware!*No receipts for tax returns. They checked the tax office and said I had to do eight returns. I paid for them and only received 7. After multiple calls later they say one was already done. But then proceeded to charge me anyway even though they said to do it. Months later no receipts and 160 dollars out of pocket. Was called a grub for asking money back that's rightfully mine. Stay well clear. Going to fair trading and fighting it tooth and nail. Disgusting behaviour and downright theft. Dismal returns also.

Have used Alan for a couple of years now, and seems up to date with the latest tax laws and requirements. Offers good advice whenever I've posed a question about the best way to minimise tax when making capital purchases. Would recommend.

Megha Patel is so helpful and makes the process of accounts easy. The other support staff in reception are super nice, super friendly and knowledgeable. I highly recommend this company to help you navigate your way through the financial world . Advice has been highly satisfying .
