Allen Tailoring & Alterations is by FAR the BEST in the business. Allen is the best at what he does and I would never trust anyone else to tailor my clothes. Every time I need my clothes tailored, Allen delivers on time and he tailors to perfection. My clothes always look a million times better after he has worked on them. Allen was extremely helpful, kind and patient when I came to him for help to tailor my husbands suit. My husband had never had his suit tailored but I wanted him to get it done for our wedding as I knew it would make him feel confident and look his best. It was a week before our wedding and we had bad experiences with other tailors but Allen assured us he could help. The pricing was also very reasonable! Andries felt so happy he had his suit tailored and the photos look fantastic!

I went to Allen 3 weeks out from my wedding day to get my dress altered. I visited another tailor before who had a terrible attitude and I left the store and found Allen. I didn't have an appointment and walked in asking for his help. I expected him to say he couldn't help me without an appointment and on such short notice but to my surprise he was welcoming, warm and ready to help. He asked me to get into the dress and started pinning me up straight away. I needed to shorten the hem of my dress and also shorten the torso of the wedding dress. It was a fair bit of work but instead of stressing me out with exuberant costs, he charged me a reasonable amount and also delivered a sensational gown at then end. I went for one fitting and that's all it took. The next time I tried the gown it was on my wedding day and it was perfect. I am so glad I found his shop and would highly recommend him if you are in need of a tailor who not only understands your needs but also gives you a warm and friendly service.

I use Allen’s at least once every 2 weeks, both for work alterations and for mending, changing and reinforcing my own personal garments.Allen is reliable, well priced and great quality work. I’ve asked him to execute a bunch of wacky requests and he completes them beautifully.He is very honest about whether or not he can complete different types of work, and where you pay for more expensive work - he delivers it with great workmanship.Highly recommend!
