Doncaster Land Rover Service Centre
Not a good experience.I have read previous reviews and heard negative feedback within the industry related to the service centre at Landrover Doncaster. Despite this, I had taken my Range Rover Evoque there for parts that required replacement once before and had no issues - they were helpful and the parts were replaced and functioned well.Recently, after my car was failing to lock, I decided to ignore the negative reviews asked that they repair this item and check the levels, replace oil if required (it’s a Diesel engine) but I had it serviced just 6 months ago. I was clear and concise about the items I wanted completed, only to be issued a quote for $8,832.15 to which the service representative confirmed was ‘not required work’. This included a $590.20 oil and filter change. The ‘issues’ requiring complete replacement of engine parts had not been sighted by the technician or in any way substantiated when I inquired as to why such an extreme quote was issued. Needless to say, my trust in this dealership completely dissolved. I collected my car and was forced to pay $240 for their ‘diagnostic work’.. work that I had not requested, but an invoice that I had to pay should I wish to drive away in my car that still would not lock, and had minimal time spent on it being diagnosed. I appealed to the service manager and dealer principal to consider if this was justified, to no avail. I doubt that my situation is unique, they did say that they had a lot of internal changes since these negative reviews were posted. Personally, I see zero evidence of that.

I am disappointed with range rover . Unfortunately I cannot pick up my car . After a year I asked for my deposit back. 5000 they offered me 2000. And put the rest in a trust I said no I don't want the car now. So I am looking at taking it further. I no it's been a year but this is my money. I don't want it to go in a trust for 12 months hoping I will buy another one

And not in a positive way.I took my car for a service and had arranged a loan car. As I was leaving I was asked to top up fuel for kilometres travelled.The person at the service desk could not tell me how much to top up given the car was half full with fuel when the keys were handed to me

Doncaster Land Rover Service Centre
Travelling from Qld, we needed to top up the diesel exhaust fluid in our Evoque but arrived late and the workshop had closed. Service Manager, (Irish) Roy assured us that he would not leave us stranded. He went the extra mile and did it for us himself with no fuss. He could not have been more helpful or friendly. We are very grateful. He’s a legend.
