Awesome service and really good quality hay. Ian really knows his products and was happy to answer all my questions to make sure I got the best hay for my needs. I was very happy with my experience and purchases from Hay and Straw and my horses loved the hay. Even a cold river and ankle deep mud wasn't enough to stop them coming over to get of this great hay. I have recommended this supplier to all my friends.

Ian has supplied me with all types of hay and straw for five years. As an animal rescuer I have a range of needs and Ian has always been able to help. I like that they will give you an honest appraisal of the quality of the hay you are buying, fodder is well stored and dry, and prices are consistent with the quality.I have recommended Ian to many animal carers and they have become loyal customers as well. :)

The BEST grass rounds and lucerne hay squares I have ever bought. Ian went to all efforts to ensure that I was getting hay that suited my expectations in terms of quality, my horses needs as well as a suitable price. Delivered straight to the shed. Couldn't be happier and I'm glad I've found what will hopefully be a hay supplier for myself for years to come.

Ian was very generous with his knowledge and experience. The straw bales for our straw bale house were spot on. Tightly compressed, very uniform in size and weight, not one broken string out of nearly 500 bales delivered.I highly recommend Ian and the folks at Hay and Straw for your next project!

Hay is top quality and Ian was great to deal with. Only thing I would have liked was the size to be outlined of the round bales before I purchased them. As a new person to buying hay I enquired about round bales and was provided a cost, not knowing they are not the usually size of 4:5. I Cannot fault the quality as it’s the best I’ve seen and the customer service was also the best I’ve seen.

Great supplier for any use. I have been back for quality horse feed and garden mulch several times over the past 2 years. Ian is always informative and has plenty of options to suit budget and use.
