This is the second time we have done a dine-in at 'Dosa Hut' in Melton.The ambience is good, although I do not understand the playing of Punjabi music in a restaurant that is selling Indian food from all parts of the country.The customer service is friendly and top-notch.I ordered Minti Mess and Jaljeera. Both the drinks were good. However, my favourite is the Minti Mess, maybe because of the taste of mint that was so refreshing.For starters, I had the sambar vada. The sambar was fantastic but the vada needs to be a bit more crunchy (inside too). It was nice and crispy outside; without being overcooked. Also, it was seasoned correctly.For mains, I had the rava dosa and the plain dosa. I love the peanut chutney and the slightly tangy chutney that accompanied both the dosas, along with a generous serve of sambar.If you like, they do have fresh sapotta juice and mango lassi. But I did not feel like both on the night that we were there, last week.On the whole, the food, customer service, ambience and range in food options that are from South India and North West India are excellent.

Worst customer service! I went their with my family ordered 3 dosa after 25 minutes they gave us 2 dosa and I kept waiting for the third one but after waiting another 20 minutes I had to go to the counter and remind them about our order. The lady came with the dosa after another 20 minutes. I had already paid the amount at the first order and told them to take the dosa back and we don't even wanted a refund. The manager, instead of being generous started saying that don't waste food and stuff like this. Absolutely bad quality of food l. Will not recommend them to anyone.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER EXPERIENCE. The staff was very unprofessional. I visited with my family and we ordered appetizers and a main course. After the appetizer, we waited for one hour and got nothing. When we ask a girl she reminded the cook and after some time a man with a turban came out and starts yelling at one of the co-workers regarding what we ordered. All in all, worst customer service. The owner should pay attention to his staff.Thank you!

The food is amazing taste. 8/10. But we had very bad experiences with service. We ordered non vegetarian platter with tandoori chicken, chicken tikka. Seekh. They gave us a mix platter with two burnt tandoori chicken and paneer and soy bean. We confused when we tried. We checked menu and talk to the staff. She accused us didn’t tell her when we first saw it. I think she wanted us to keep it then she can serve to others later. She had very bad manners. We had very bad experiences. We drove far away to this famous dosa hut restaurant. But again the food is nice and amazing. Just need to improve the service skills please. We would love to visit again.

I ordered butter chicken for 30 people as takeaway catering to take to my in laws to my surprise the taste was absolutely amazing and food tasted fresh. Everyone loved it and each n everyone asked where the butter chicken was from. Really appreciate the food !

I tried their Hyderabadi chicken dum biryani at a reasonable price in Opalia shopping center. It's not the same authentic taste I get from other Dosa huts like in Roxburgh park. Maybe each Dosa hut has a different taste but it's definitely not too tasty. Wait time is more than 20 minutes for take away orders even though they are not too busy so better book your order on the phone.
