I could barely walk and they wouldn’t even do a xray to check my knee. I had been crawling around in pain all morning and got an uber to get there rather than clog up the hospital system. The place was empty and alot of nursing stuff. If you can’t even do a basic xray, then what is the point??As with previous reviewers the nurses were rude and had no inclination to help no matter what pain you are in. Poorly run and poorly managed. They left me and my seven year old daughter in tears and feeling like we have nowhere to get helpThis is unethical and I am reporting the “Health” clinic to the medical board. They need to be reviewed as they do not do as they advertise or represent. Poor health services in this area

I called up to ask if they had staff capable of prescribing medications. The reception staff member who answered refused to tell me. Kept telling me I had to ring Nurse on Call to find out. What??? Why would they know? So I wasted 45 minutes on the phone with Nurse on Call, and at the end they told me they had no idea what services Barwon Health North could provide, I should call them directly. That’s 45 minutes of my life I’ll never get back. So I called back and got the same useless person. I told him “see? They have no idea what you do, why can’t you just answer my question?” He told me yes, we can prescribe medicine. There. Was it REALLY that hard to answer?? Unbelievable. So we make the long trip all the way in for help. The first triage nurse we encountered today was nothing short of a delight. She treated my unwell children with nothing but kindness. Fast forward to the nurse practitioner who we actually had to deal with…. Far out. Worst beside manner I’ve ever come across. Horrible to me, horrible to my children, challenged me repeatedly in disbelief about my current medical condition diagnosed by my normal doctor (closed on weekends and needed help) PLUS I gave details about a CT scan to confirm results…. She still scoffed and didn’t believe me. She refused to accept facts when I attempted to provide relevant information about our illness history and patterns of extreme disease. Couldn’t wait to get us out of the room. Honestly this person has clearly worked for far too long in this industry. She needs to retire. Won’t be using this facility again, no matter how desperate we are.

Great service. I have been 3 times to the urgent care centre here as I'm quite accident prone! Each time I have been seen quickly, by lovely staff & problem sorted by skilled nurse practitioners. Would highly recommend for those problems listed on their website, and helps keep numbers down in ED.

Went with my niece and she had an X-ray on her sprained ankle. The male nurse at the end was gripping her ankle tightly while she was crying in pain saying use your words. He gripped so hard he made another bruise!!! Work on your bedside manner she’s 9 years old and you’re a grown adult with issues. Absolutely disgusted!!!!

Suspected a broken finger and yep was. Nurse's were great didn't have to wait long at all. Xray taken and confirmed. But in a back slab and I was truly taken care of. Awesome being open so late. Ment I could organise kids and yet still get seen too. An awesome service, great for not clogging up the major hospital in Geelong for injuries such as mine.

Rude & condescending is how i'd describe the nurse i saw today! I felt like i was shamed as a mother for not taking my son to see his doctor! They are open at 8am but there is no nurse practitioner until 10..perhaps open at 10 then..was a BIG waste of time!!

We had our first experience at Barwon Health North today and everyone was wonderful! The process was clear and the care given was excellent. How lucky we are to have a streamlined health service in Geelong:)

This hospital will demand you tell a door greeter" your private medical information or they will attempt to bully you into telling them your medical status. I had an appointment booked

Spent 2 hours waiting for prac nurse and when i finally got seen they walked in with a poor attitude that im inconveniencing them and did a minute check and basically fobbed me off within 5 mins.. will be avoiding this particular nurse from now on
