Extremely disappointing experience with Maitland taxi’s, made a booking for 10 people 2 months prior, confirmed booking the morning of, only to be cancelled 2 hours before pickup, reason provided was suspicious and no support offered, ended the call with them hanging up.

I switched to this company for my mother, who has early dementia, primarily due to their app.Unfortunately have had to phone a couple of times and this morning got the rudest and most pushy woman I have dealt with. Kept asking me to be specific in where my mother needed to go to. Rutherford shops. Be specific. Woolworths Rutherford. She was rude, pushy, abrasive to the point I told her to forget it, we’d ring Diggers.She then rang me back and left a voice message berating me for not being specific in my bookings, either online or in the app.Finding this unacceptable customer service I phoned back, said my bit, and she argued back. Cool. Quite simply will die before I ever use Maitland cabs again based solely on this one interaction.The app pre-fills address, and I added notes for accuracy. Not enough for this woman. Stated drivers were driving around looking for my mother for hours.Simple solution: they will never get a booking from us again.Considering she goes up every day in a taxi both ways, that’s money I’d rather spend with people with better manners and customer service skills.A real pity, because I like the idea of a functioning app for booking. A pity customer service falls short and you still need to phone to check if a car is being allocated.The drivers do their best. I think they have more to worry about than Uber impacting their business.

The driver was rude to my Daughter with no replies when she spoke to him whilst catching a cab from Marlborough st Rutherford to to Mckeachie Drive Aberglasslyn $24.20. you rip-off artist #unts

2 1/2 hours late for a wheelchair taxi pick up at my father’s nursing home. Causing him to miss Christmas day dinner with his family.STRONGLY advise against using this taxi company.
