My 50th birthday degustation was spectacular. Not only were the courses perfectly cooked and matched with wines , the service we received was nothing short of amazing! I had the best night, thank you!

A Touch of Salt
Totally in love with their food, had visited a few times over the last year and each experience is fantastic. Service was good, food were on point for its freshness, creativity, combinations of flavours used in all the given ingredients. Found a chef who we came across long ago in another restaurant and happy that he is in this place serving awesome food, atmosphere is great, tables are well spaced apart for adequate privacy. Would be looking forward for my next dining experience with them!

It is always such a pleasurable experience, when dining at A Touch of Salt. Reliable, consistent and great flavour combinations. Michael uses fresh ingredients, many of which are locally sourced or out of his own garden.

Really enjoyed my rib fillet meal, nothing left on my plate. Had a lovely time ,nice surroundings and shout out to young waiter who took photos of our clan for us and did a superb job.

Simply good food. The ability to make a menu with great diversity and still taste amazing is astonishing (they change menu fairly often). One of the rare restaurant in Townsville can serve you a vegan 3 courses meal.

After road tripping for 4 weeks and being plant based I was heartily sick of avo toast and vegan burgers, I was looking forward to a decent plant based meal and I wasn’t disappointed!The service and staff were lovely and the food hit the spot.Well recommend.

I was there with my husband to celebrate my birthday. The food had a good taste and beautifully arranged. The staff was effecient and helpful during ordering a food. Unfortunately, I could not enjoy the quiet relaxed athmosphere as it was disturbed by a loud company few metres away... They ruined the evening for all of other guests too, as I observed few couples simply left the restaurant after exposure to uncontrolled gomeric laugh from that company! Sadly, waitresses or managers were ignoring the fact that not anyone need a disturbance while they dine in a costly place! I gave to Touch of Salt a 3 stars because of lack of human touch.. and inability to control the situation.

Nice place in Townsville. We had trout wontons, goat cheese gnocchi, prawn okonomiyaki, beef steak and duck breast. Everything was very tasty, but the wontons were highlight for me. Gnocchi were not my cup if tea (but these were my partner's choice). Steak was fantastic. Very friendly staff (the guy from Greece was so nice). Pleasant atmosphere. Why not 5 stars: too much ice in our drink, cold and dimmed interior. Otherwise recommended for nice dinner. (Visited Sep 22)

Service, Margaritas & Menus! So… was invited here when visiting Townsville yesterday. Really great location, we had quite a large group which they catered for well.The recommendation of the goat for entree were spot on.And the Bartender came and had a chat and added to my quest —> to find the worlds best Margaritas. We had a pretty in-depth chat!!Also to our waitress … she was the best !!! Really hope you got well in your Aviation / Law / architecture pursuits… you are a star!!

Delicious food. Very reasonable price for a five star meal. Nice art on walls. Sophisticated ambience. Very friendly and polite staff.
