Living Well At Bendigo

My 94 year old father spent his final decade residing here since 2011 and was very happy with his surroundings. The staff are wonderful and caring and the units are lovely and easy to manage. Highly recommended if you are looking for independent living arrangements.

I was here to visit a friends grandmother.It was a clean and friendly environment.

I have friend who live here. And he love it.

My 100 year old grandmother lives here and is so happy. She has wonderful friends. She also attends the activities that are arranged for residents to engage in. She is happy so that makes me happy.

Is anyone able to confirm on the fees please. I had a friend that used to live there whom passed away and he told me they keep 80% of the pension. Another person i know yesterday told me it's 800dollars to get in and 200 a fortnight including food which doesn't sound right to me. On the website they mention the 800 and a small rental fee which leaves a little left over from the pension so I'm inclined to believe it's the first option? Thanks in advance.

Our 93 year old mother lives at Living Well on a full time basis. It is an independent living centre, so she is still in control of her life and how she spends her time. The units at Living well are lovely. Residents have a living room, complete with lots of cabinets, a bedroom big enough for a queen size bed, an ensuite and a small back yard, complete with shed. The yard is 3m X 3m and big enough to set up a neat little garden. There is a communal dining room where healthy meals are served. Main meal is provided at lunch time, and provisions are supplied to self prepare breakfast and the evening meal. The managers of Living Well are wonderful. They are 100% committed to their role, providing that very special touch that can only be achieved by someone who truly cares.
