Very informative and well presented talk, I felt comfortable asking questions and they had a number of interesting artefacts/pieces of the reef passed around.Would definitely recommend attending. They also provide coffee/tea and biscuits and are cool if you bring your dinner and drinks to have while watching

Me and my wife spent a week up in cairns. We snorkelled, dived and did a tour to cape tribulation and out of all of the paid experiences Reef Teach came out on top. The talk was fun and engaging and the teacher was very very friendly. Highly recommended!

We enjoyed a full day out on the reef with Cara and Breanna from Marine Discoveries: Reef Teach.Their knowledge, passion and dedication to scientific observation and data collection added so much to our experience.I‘m glad we chose to discover the Great Barrier Reef with expert guidance as this fragile ecosystem is so diverse and complex.Highly recommended.

Abbey was very informative and entertaining! I was even more excited to see the reef after the Reef Teach, it gave me a strong appreciation for the science of the reef and the challenges it faces. Everyone should do this tour - the money goes directly towards reef research and conservation!

Absolutely fantastic! Going to reef teach before diving the GBR was incredibly fun and insightful.I was able to identify lots of fish and corals, which made the experience even more interesting.Also, there's tea and biscuits.Money well spent!

One of the best things you can do with $18.00 in Cairns!Me and my girlfriend went along today and found the experience to be not only very interesting and knowledgeable, but also very fun. The dude who hosts the show is one of the funniest, most excitable people I have ever seen teach before which is awesome because he makes you feel engaged for the whole talk and really makes you want to get down in the Ocean and see just what he is so excited about!Not only that, you also feel very welcome the whole time you're there.I'm personally very happy I went along and I know for certain that you will be too!

OUTSTANDING!!Being a tenderfoot at sea life is pretty common.From the very beginning to the very end the lesson-or we could call it friendly chat- was easy to follow. Even when English isn't Your mother tongue!! (I'm Spanish)So yeah, 10 out of 10. Good videos and all the topics are well chosen! And of course the good correct amount of fun fact that you will remember ever after. Do not hesitate GO.i loved it!HIGHLY RECOMMENDED to go before hitting The Great Barrier Reef- because as it is said with learning comes appreciation""

Gareth had a wealth of knowledge and we learnt so much at Reef teach. He made it really interesting and interactive and literally there was not a question he couldn't answer.Highly recommend doing this before or after a trip to the reef. Absolutely loved it!

Amazing. Gareth and Abby are both very passionate about the Reef and educating everyone about it. The evening show is funny, entertaining and lighthearted whilst still being informative. I highly recommend this show to anyone interested in the Reef.
