Droneit - National Drone Training & Licensing

After a fair bit of research for Drone pilot training companies, I found Droneit. Droneit offer their training using online courses (useful during COVID times) which include Zoom sessions as well as in person flight training. Their service is outstanding and response times almost immediate. Class sizes are small and thank you to trainers Nehuen and Richard for making the content easy to understand and me feel at ease to ask any questions or clarifications.

Richard and Simon were both extremely thorough and friendly in their delivery of the training courses. Samson also provided rapid responses in coordinating the courses.

Really great service, always a member of staff ready to answer queries and they bent over backwards to accommodate my schedule. The theoretical material was pretty daunting but quality self-learning resources and then the comprehensive face-to-face classes made the content engaging, easier to absorb and made passing the exam easily doable. I’ve worked with the professionals from DroneIt on numerous occasions, the most memorable being a number of Australian Defence Force field combat training activities with DroneIt as a sub-contractor getting incredible videography products for our customer. Their experience and expertise around RPAS is clearly evident. But it’s the times that I’ve been a student myself on a DroneIt course or how their staff assisted with our ReOC that I took the most from. The team at DroneIt know their business and know the needs of the RPAS industry to a point I wouldn’t call anyone else if I need to know something about this space. With Industry partners like DroneIt on our side I know my staff are in the right hands and now it’s the only place we would consider sending employees of Cubic Defence Australia for ‘drone’ training. Had wonderful learning experiences with Simon O'Neill who is incredibly friendly, has a clear talent for teaching, and is very knowledgeable; and also with Richard McGee who always showed fantastic enthusiasm. Samson Rose was also very helpful in organising and seeing through my training to completion.

A great program in these tough Covid times. Online but not with hours of interminable Zoom meetings. I got my RePL and AROC in a couple of weeks, did the exams face to face and learned a heap at the practical day. I would thoroughly recommend Droneit if you want to get serious in the sky.

I was referred to Droneit while looking for a affordable RePL course provider, and they came out way ahead.Whilst there were some minor hiccups along the way, I can appreciate the difficulty in operating such a complex course, and everything came together perfectly in the end! Even the exam day was great for the fun and opportunity to meet fellow droners.Looking forward to completing my ReOC with Droneit next.

Attended the sub 2kg flying component in Perth recently. Byron was an excellent instructor and the session was a great introduction. I would recommend this course if you are a novice and want to know how to safely fly a drone for leisure.

My experience with DroneIt from the initial phone call (with lots of questions), to completing every course they offer has been superb!! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Most of them being aeroplane pilots, and ofcause drone pilots have extensive aviation knowledge. The online platform and student portal makes the learning experience as simple as it gets!! Definitely recommend DroneIt!!
