I'm a guitar player who dabbles in bass, but I wanted to get the ins and outs of what sets great bass players apart from good ones. I had a few things to address, and Craig identified them early, and offered little things to help me get better. Little things that are now making a big difference in my playing.I can't fault Craig's approach either: he listens to what you want to get out of playing the instrument--what styles you like, what level you're at etc--and delivers what is otherwise complex info in an understandable and friendly manner.I'd recommend Craig for bass lessons, for anyone at any level.

Craig always knows the right exercise or skill to work on to improve your playing and get to where you want to go. I can’t recommend him highly enough.

Craig is brilliant at breaking technique/concepts down to their smallest parts, demonstrating how those parts fit together, identifying what your current level is so far as playing/learning bass is concerned, and explaining the 'how & why' in a manner you can easily understand & apply to your playing immediately. Craig is a patient, fantastic teacher ;-) Can't recommend him enough
