The first time I went into this shop - their service was excellent. So when I had an issue with my battery - I went back. This was over 6 weeks ago now. They said initially it would 4 days to get a new battery - when I hadn't heard several weeks later - I called them back - to be told that i could get that replaced for free through the manufacturer. Great! But after checking that out - discovered that my part number was actually different - so called back and asked them to order it as my PN was different (on the same day). Several weeks later - still hadn't heard back from them, called again - STILL hadn't ordered it! Probably should have just ordered it online but I like supporting local businesses. Super annoying to have to chase up time and time again and feel like you are getting nowhere. Thought I had finally found a reliable trades person in Cairns but turns out I was wrong. Will see whether I actually get it this time or not!

I recently needed quick service for a computer problem whilst on a work trip to Cairns, Computer Resources was recommended by a local. So glad I listened. Quick and efficient service and I wasn’t made feel computer useless. Signed up for remote management, now they will keep an eye open for any potential problems and fix them.

Got a home File/Hyper-V server built through Computer Resources and is still going strong. They offered good range of build options and what I was looking for at a competitive price. Would highly recommend as their service as one of the best I have had in cairns.

They actually listen to what you want.Even clarify what you mean.No problems, only solutions.

Took my laptop and husbands Samsung watch to get fixed. Letter on keyboard was not working and closing hinge possibly broken on laptop. Charged $66 to have a look. Shocked to find they didnt give me any documentation to say they had taken my laptop and watch. (I quickly took a photo of the laptop). I had to ask for documentation, and I got a very basic receipt for the $66 (lucky I took photos). Had to ring many times to see how things were going. Got promises. Finally told they cant do anything with watch as wont charge (we already knew this and told them when we gave it to them!) After 2 1/2 weeks cost an extra $189 (total $255!). This was to glue hinge (looks dodgy) and new laptop keyboard. I did agree to fix, but later found a keyboard only costs $20 tops online. Should have checked keyboard price online first!! Also on picking up laptop my charging elect cord was missing. They said I didnt give it to them. I said I took photos of the laptop in their shop and it was given to them... they hen found it! Overall feel very ripped off and worse part the customer service was absolutely terrible. Wont go back or recommend. A pity.....

My computer was running very slow and sometimes not starting.I called Computer Resources and asked if they can repair my computer.They explained how they have a two step process, where I pay a small deposit and they quote the cost to repair my computer.Their cost was very reasonable and I gave the go ahead to fix my computer.The computer was returned to me and now works better than new. I was surprised how changing from a hard drive to a solid state drive with some extra RAM made such a big improvement to how I use my computer.

We rate the service 10 out of 5! We picked up malware on our drive to Cairns, stopping at various places using wifi. Having found Computer Resources Cairns in the yellow pages, our frustration turned to delight.The proprietor and staff provided fast and excellent service, removing the malware overnight and giving us great advice as well. Very personable and enormously helpful.

Three words - Above and Beyond. The team at CRC were recommended to me by an acquaintance for all of my computer repair/replacement requirements, and I was NOT disappointed. They treated me with the utmost respect, patience and courtesy and reluctantly accepted a heavily discounted payment for at least 4 hours of work, when I returned soon after purchasing a reconditioned laptop, with what I thought was a teething problem but turned out ultimately to be a problem that I had inadvertently caused myself - ie a virus. I could not be more impressed by this business, and I am not easily impressed. Well done team!!

Highly recommended using computer resources in Cairns. I had a genuine emergency with my father who was in hospital and needed prompt assistance with his laptop. The lovely owner Robert went above and beyond and even picked up my fathers laptop whilst in hospital.I am very grateful for his kind and compassionate assistance. There are not too many people like Robert I can say. Thank-you again and would definitely recommend his services to anyone in Cairns. Highly recommend.

I paid my $60 to look at my epson for repair back in early December (they told me epson was a brand worth repairing). I was told they would give me a call in a few days. THEY HAVE NEVER CALLED ME. When I called 2 weeks after dropping it off I was told that they hadn't looked at it for ages and I asked if they would at least call to tell me what was going on. It is now the end of February and they have still never called me. THEY TOOK MY $60 AND NOW I FEEL LIKE THEY STOLE IT. I will be checking out office of fair trade to see how I can get my money back.
