Not only great artisan baked goods but an awesome experience too. Like being in a Paris cafe. The Raspberry Mousse Tart was not too sweet and the pastry was perfect. The mauricette breads have a unique pretzel flavour to their crust, with the baked on cheese just making it better, and super soft inside. The baguette is so authentic and delicious. Very friendly staff, love the atmosphere and perusing all the gourmet groceries they have on the shelves adds to the vibe of being in a European cafe… in Canberra!

The only reason this place doesn’t have an average of 5 stars is probably because of the one 1x star review from a disgruntled customer bringing down the average. Ignore that, because this place is great. So good to have a quality cafe/bakery in Chisholm. The baked goods are delicious (the apple crumble Danish is insane) and the staff and the owner are really lovely. Nice to sit outside, though you wouldn’t be able to dine in with a bigger group. We were glad to see a bit more variety and competition as the only other cafe in Chisholm shops was unfortunately pretty average and overpriced. We love L’épi!

Absolutely terrible pie! I bought a steak a mushroom Guinness pie for $8 and it had 1 tiny bit of steak and 3 tiny slices of mushroom the rest of the pie was a gelatinous sauce with hardly any flavour. For $8 I expected some of the ingredients listed within the pie name but I was very very disappointed instead. Won’t ever buy a pie here again

Pastries can be a little small and dry. I've had a quiche and also a ham and cheese croissant, that was terribly dry and crumbly. I could not find any water available, but you will probably need to purchase a bottle if you want some. Coffee is okay. There are no bins where you can clean up your table. I think this place could do well, if they paid attention to the little things. I will come back another time, to see if it improves

Couldn’t go past a hot cross bun over Easter so keen to go back and try their other treats and buy some bread - the loaves looked fantastic.. Feels like the closest thing to a French boulangerie that we have in Canberra.

Pastries were ok, danish was overly sweet esp the custard in it which made it not that enjoyable. My coffee order was incorrect even though I repeated twice that I was after a double shot latte & got a normal one instead.There was a fly roaming in the display when we were ordering which was a bit of a shame.Overall, ok but would not say it’s the best French pastries I ever tasted. I do wish them well!

After paying $6.50 for a lrg mocha, waiting 10 minutes for my coffee to be ready I have it completely spilled over me as they bent the cup and decided to hide it with and extra cup making the lid loose

Coffee good, lovely bread. Pie was really nice - pastry beautiful. It did only have two pieces of chicken in it so a bit disappointed on that front given it was $8 - really just peas and sauce.
