Coconut House
Spacious restaurant with lots of seating. The food was not oily or too salty. We ordered the coconut butter chicken which was tasty with the bits of crispy coconut and curry leaves. The nyonya chicken was delicious and had a unique flavour. The service was great and prompt. One of the staff, Karen was patient to recommend us some dishes and to take our order. We even got free port after our meal. I enjoyed the sweet taste of the port to wash down the savoury meal. Price was reasonable for an enjoyable meal. Would seriously return in future despite the 45min drive.

Been here a few times. The chicken rice is of course the hero dish, but they also serve weekday lunch specials that are tasty and reasonably priced. Particularly appreciated nowadays when eating out is just becoming exorbitant. Do check it out if you are in the area.

This has got to be the worst Thai food I have ever tasted. The Nasi Goreng was inedible, Pad Thai was disgusting and the chicken satay skewers were extremely spicy. DO NOT EAT HERE!!!!

Execution of all dishes was excellent. No doubt this is very authentic. Perfectly cooked proteins and veg, balanced sauces and wide selection of food.In a unique location. Staff are friendly, willing to explain what’s on the menu etc, and tentative. The environment is relaxed and you don’t feel like you’re being hurried out as like many other restaurants.Will be back again.

Coconut house is our family favourite in Bayside for Malaysian and Chinese cuisine. All the dishes are fantastic, I can’t say anything negative about any of the dishes they serve up. The staff are equally excellent, friendly and very efficient and make us feel welcome every time we come which is quite regular now. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone in the area that loves Asian cuisine as you will not be disappointed.

Amazing lunch today!First time visiting Coconut House in Moorabbin - most recommended!Great atmosphere, superb service and super delicious food! Ordered the Malaysian Banquet, each and every dish was bursting with flavour.Will definitely revisit.
