Cliff Oval

Fabulous ground and club rooms for junior rugby. Car park can fill quick which just means a bit further walk from the street. Great bush walks in the area too

Cliff Oval is a beautiful field for both kids sports clubs and its connected bush trails, beginning from behind the field and through the mountains to locations on Wahroonga streets or leading back to Golden Jubilee Park. I come often with family and dogs and the trail is reliable, fun, and a great workout.

Great area however gets busy with rugby happenings. Unfortunately a lot of rubbish after games. Would be even better if the bottom oval was a leash free area for dogs. Frequent wildlife sitings - goannas, snakes, birds, rabbits, lyrebirds, Wallabies and the occasional fox

Great spot to grab lunch overlooking a National Park. Close to the city and worth in any type of weather.

It's a great bush walk - not long but the feeling is the end of the world"! Beautiful lookout at the end over ku-ring-gai national park to the North. Our dog loves it too..."

One of the best rugby grounds in sydney. Love the upstairs bar, but attend mostly attend at junior games so don't get to use it enough :) Hosts always put on a friendly atmosphere

Rugby traffic results in noisy, rowdy crowd of disruptive individuals, mostly due to the club serving alcoholic beverages. Drunks leave rubbish all over the fields AND the native bushland. The bottom oval should definitely be an off leash area for dogs. Used to see lots of native animals, such as echidnas, snakes, lyrebirdsl wallabies etc but ever since the rugby club was built, and a major weed spraying in 2011, the sightings have significantly decreased. In the bushland, the views are spectacular, and there are great places for abseiling and rock climbing. I just wish that the rugby rubbish and noise wouldn't ruin the ambience... Occasionally evidence of drug use in the bushland.

Our favorite place to walk, play and enjoy the life with the kids :)

Lovely sports oval, and very good club rugby facilities. Beautiful surrounds in a lovely suburb.

A large oval and a second flat soccer field. If you walk to the far end of the soccer field, through the gate and follow the path you'll end up at the cliff that gives the place its name. Great views over the National Park.
