Highly recommended place for breakfast. Staffs are friendly, food tastes fresh and great. We mistakenly ordered a dish with Ham. When returned, they fully refund the money without any hesitation. Such customer care is much appreciated. Will revisit without any doubts.

Wonderful brunch. I thought it to be more like a cafe than a bakery, but the kitchen was fantastic with great menu (both brekky & lunch) and generous portion sizes. The barista is great too, enjoyed the espressos and silky flat whites.Gets super busy, so plan ahead especially on weekends. They do take bookings for large groups

A visit to Mount Gambier is incomplete without a stop (or two) at Metro. Over the years, we’ve sampled their coffee, almond croissants, chips, sangria, risotto, falafels, chicken.. And not once have we been disappointed. The portions are huge and staff are friendly and supportive even at their busiest. Good service, good food and good prices. What more could you want?

I love local bakeries and Metro Bakery nails the coffee and the pastries. Wish we were eating here for breakfast few times to check out everything because coffee alone was ridiculously delicious. The coffee beans were rich and dark, and the oat milk they used was the best. Honestly one of the best lattes I have had. Now we also ordered the almond croissants, while they were good compared to few I have had, these were a bit too sweet. It wasn't necessary to add that much custard sugar on top of it. Other than that they were still delicious. I highly recommend you check out this place for breakfast.
