Truffle Lodge
We based ourselves at gorgeous Truffle Lodge to explore the beautiful Derwent Valley. It is the perfect location to venture out during the day and then unwind in the evenings. Exceptional hospitality, a simple, but delicious menu showcasing Tasmanian produce, peaceful and the views are so pretty! Our thanks to the staff who were all very welcoming, knowledgable and fantastic hosts.

Beautiful tranquil location. Delightful accommodation. The owners and staff were most obliging and very genuine in wanting our stay to be special.Pleasant and plentiful home style meals with flair.A fantastic moment when we saw our first platypus in the wild, only metres from our glamping tent.

Best glamping I’ve ever done. We stayed at the Truffle Lodge for 2 nights in January. Beautiful setting right on the river with unique and thoughtful rooms. The included homemade food is absolutely worth it - with local food used at each meal. Highly, highly recommend.

Glamping at its finest. Great setting next to creek with platypus. This is how camping should be, spacious tents with attached bathrooms, big comfy beds and everything you need to unwind.

This is the prettiest place in Australia! The beauty of the area & the the actual lodge itself is something i will never forget. A must on the bucket list!
