Lovely place, friendly staff. Loved the way the shop smelt with the diffusers going throughout. My only negative would be better signage for where specific goods are; I had to ask where the linen was and when I was taken to it there wasn't a clear sign that I could see that showed where it was. Other than that, I enjoyed my brief experience shopping here.

As a long time customer of 8 years of this “bargain centre” it is sad to see how expensive things have gotten in this shop. I am a collector of glassware and old oddities and used to relish my daily trips to Riverside to pick through the brick a brack rand find myself a daily bargain. Over the years I have been going to Riverside less and less as I simply cannot afford the prices they are asking now which is really sad as they call themselves a church and a charity. Now it is gotten to the point where I cannot afford to shop there at all as they are asking prices that are out of my budget I still go once a week in the hopes that the prices will be coming down but I fear they will not. Such a same to see a church and charity raising prices to the point where people can’t afford them I really would expect more. I have seen many different managers throughout the years and many different people pricing certain items and the staff they have pricing items now do not consider that the people shopping at Riverside do not have much money. It would be lovely to see Riverside return to the way once was but I highly doubt it will as with all entities money is the name of the game.
