Fantastic spot to catch a sunrise. Pool is ok also but can get rough in bad surf.

Towradgi Rock Pool
In wild and windy weather Towradgi Rock Pool is one of those liminal spaces where the edges between it and the Pacific Ocean disappear. Throw yourself in from mossy stairs and let the edges of the pool break the force of the waves: protection. It’s briny and wild with a view of container ships and the belching smoke stacks of Port Kembla in one direction, and consistently good surf breaks in the other. We do this one repeatedly each season because it’s really good.

Towradgi Rock Pool
I've come here so many times. It's perfect when you want to get out of the waves and just relax and there's enough seating for everyone! I also really love the beach area as it's super special and where my partner proposed to me.

Great quite place on weekdays to take a break from work, grab some fish and chips, enjoy milliondollar view oceanside lunch. Plenty of covered tables and parking spaces. So you can go rain hail or shine. Unexpected bonus: discovering the changing moods and colors of the ocean.

Towradgi Rock Pool
Very nice and kid friendly place. Has 2 rock pools one shallow, kid safe one, and a bigger 50m (?) deeper one for the grown ups. Nice and generous sitting and chill area. Go there on a day with big swells so the algae is washed away and the water is nice and clean.

Nice open area, plenty of parking, kids playground, rock pool for kids as well as adults (lots of sea weeds too!), shower room, plenty of sheds and hot plates, cycling and walking track, nice beach - overall a fantastic day out!

Towradgi Rock Pool
Such a beautiful place to sit while the suns sets and warms your back. The pool was mostly covered in sand, though it didn't stop anyone from enjoying some Autumn sunshine.
