Amazing experience, great lunch food, friendly staff that kept the experience fun but also you felt safe the entire time as I was a little fearful in getting in the open ocean. Phoebe was the absolute best. My husband felt like she provided his own personal snorkeling tour.

One of the best in Cairns! good size yacht,new facilities on board and friendly & professional crews. We visited two reefs and both are incredible with colorful corals and fishes. They give complimentary guide tour for 1st time snorkellers and ensure everyone can enjoy the tour in the end. Lunch on board is average though, but supply suffient for all guests. My hubby and I had a very good time and it is out of our expectation that we could take this video on the guided snorkelling tour.

Had a great day out on the reef. We were a group of 3 families with kids and an infant. The crew was superb and very accommodating. The boat was one of the best that we saw at the reef terminal. Snacks and Lunch were good too. We did scuba and snorkelling and the diving crew made sure everyone had a good time. Most of the members in the group were non swimmers and the guides helped everyone in water to make it a wonderful experience. Tip: You can do scuba to get an experience of how its done, else Snorkelling offers similar or more time and viewing experience in terms of reef and aquatic life.

The highlight of the travel to Cairns- friendly staff and well organized tours! Snorkeling around the beautiful spots at the Great Barrier Reef was so dreamy. To be able to see the colorful reef and marine life was a blessing. Phobe was very bright and lovely, Ben took great pictures regardless how lost i felt in the water sometimes :) and all the staffs were caring and nice- I'm not sure whom made the cute speeches during the tour and ended with Bing Bong- never got to ask if its a reference from inside out or if its a slang. Highly recommended!

I had the best experience! Definitely book with Passions of Paradise. The boat was well kept and clean. There was plenty of room for everyone to relax. It was my first time heading to the Great Barrier Reef, and Passions of Paradise was referred to me by a friend. The crew were fun and knowledgeable! I tried scuba diving for the first time, and although initially scared, Erin, my instructor, put my mind at ease. I also snorkled at both reefs we visited that day. I'll be back! Ensure you leave 24-48 hours from plane flights. Sunscreen, motion sickness tablets (and spare) are a must. I enjoyed the food cooked by their chef. The eco talk on the way back to Cairns raised my awareness and made me want to do more. Experiencing the great barrier reef was a dream come true. I highly recommend them. Huge thank you to their crew!

Although the weather was really rainy and a bit windy, the tour wasn’t cancelled which was a positive. They just decided to stay Hastings Reef all day instead of visiting second reef which was fair and well done to the team they managed the tour under this condition.While we were going to the reef, the boat was too shaky so many people felt seasick but the crew was caring and they let some to drive in the afternoon instead.I was a discovery diver (intro group) and the instructor Jordan was great to guide us. The only disappointing part was the photo shooting under the water. I can understand that the photographer needs to take people who are snorkelling photos on the surface of the water but for the one who were diving needed to be different. I was expecting to see some corals or part of the environment on my photo but I seemed like I am in the water but there is nothing around me. This is my second dive in the Great Barrier Reef with two different companies so I should have said my first photos were much better with variety of fishes and coral backgrounds. This is my feedback to the photographer.My cousin and brother were the only certified divers who were diving in the afternoon because of seasick and the crew forgot about the photographer for them. When I reminded them, they were kind enough to arrange this for us.The boat was not so crowded which was another good thing and the crew were nice. Some of them were really experienced and some were still improving.I also liked that they provided diving information for the certified divers and a record for the discovery divers from PADI. Marine biologist’s presentation was also informative and eyes opening. Liked to hear the team is sustainable and care about marine life.Thank you for this experience and bring us back safely under the difficult weather condition.

Excellent tour. Relaxing cruise out to the reef on a spacious catamaran. Lunch was great and the staff were fantastic and very helpful, especially our dive instructor Nivi. It was our first dive so we were a little nervous but she was exceptional, very friendly and enthusiastic. I would highly recommend this trip.

We had a great day! Our family of 5 could not have been happier with the service of the staff. Drew was amazing in helping my kids experience diving for the first time. It was well organized and ran very efficiently. The marine biology talk from Russell was a great way to return home. If anything could be improved I would say serving lamb stew for lunch might have been a poor option.I highly recommend them. I have done a tour with another company before and I would pick Passions of Paradise.

If you are planning to do a day trip to the Great Barrier Reef please consider this wonderful company - not only are they locally owned, they are committed to ecotourism and sustainability. After a wonderful sail on a beautiful catamaran (make sure you take some seasickness tablets beforehand if choppy seas make you queasy) you get to explore two reef locations by snorkelling and if you wish to, an introductory scuba dive. I decided to try a scuba for the first time in my life even though I was a bit apprehensive and my diving instructor Simon was very supportive and encouraging. It was definitely an experience to remember. My husband was so enamoured he has decided to get his scuba licence. The food on board is delicious, there are options for vegans, vegetarians and all other folk. Options on board to buy extra drinks and snacks are very affordable. All equipment for snorkelling and diving is provided. You can also buy waterproof cases for your phone on the boat. There is also a crew member dedicated to taking photos of everyone in the water. Speaking of the crew, they’re all amazing!!! Highly, highly, highly recommended experience.
