Highly recommend staying there, we just spent 4 days and we wish we had of found out about this place earlier.Owners are easy to get along with and the facilities are very handy. Theres a fresh creek and swimming hole to relax in aswell. Will definitely be going again :)

Came through on our way home to stay the night, and was met with friendly and helpful service by the lady (I believe her name was Kim, sorry if I’m wrong) at the “desk”, then went to decide on our campsite from among many excellent spots that were available. Settled near the creek on the right with some reasonably distanced neighbours.Unfortunately, because our trip was very sudden, we didn’t have much in the way of utensils or supplies. Went back to ask for information on where to obtain these in the late afternoon, finding that options were slim on a Sunday. In a rare display of hospitality, the lady from the desk provided us with cooking utensils and enough food for the night, being friendly and empathetic to our situation. Could not believe the generosity.Frosty evening, though it was a winters night, and a few critters getting around the tent in the evening, but about what you’d expect from a bush site. Some of the reviews I read for this place are expecting resort service I swear..A few portaloos, stocked twice a day from what the neighbours said. Clearly maintained. Also, if you haven’t got a 4wd, be mindful that the track in has a couple of large ditches from people being stuck, so eyes open and you’ll be fine.A great experience. Go in expecting a night in the bush, and you’ll get just that.Happy camping.Love your work Kim.

As it says in the name, bush camping alongside the river. We had a lovely spot, far enough away from others to be private but close to the clean facilities. Very easy access and no late night parties when we stayed. Great spot to relax and unwind.

Great place, best bush camping spot with the family. The family and I enjoyed our stay, we know we'll be coming back and my hats off to the owners and the staff, they are great friendly country people that made our stay more enjoyable.

We went with friends over Easter weekend and had a spot near the river. We enjoyed immensely our time, the owners are friendly and take care well of their lands. They are in a process of adding more amenities like showers and WC in the first paddock. Will definitely come back to enjoy the scenery.ThanksAmandine

Honest review..Very relaxing meadow camping next to a little Creek. The only thing that's not so great are the portaloos. They really need some cleaning out. The only difference between the amenities block and the portaloos, is that there you'd be able to flush, but don't expect clean facilities and definitely bring own toilet paper.Flying fox has nicer camp spots than River camping. Otherwise good little get away spot.

Look, the place and scenery are beautiful. The creek is amazing to go for a swim however there were some downfalls to our recent stay. Firstly, the toilets. Yes they’re flushing but they need a serious clean! And so does the shower. You pay the same amount to stay somewhere with clean amenities, you think they could with do a clean once and while. There’s rarely any toilet paper and no soap to wash your hands with afterwards. Secondly, the lady at reception was so rude to my mum who came to visit us for the day. It doesn’t take much to be polite and helpful. Sorry, but we won’t be coming back and supporting a business that doesn’t treat their clients with respect.

My husband and I just spent 4 nights camping. We will definitely be back when they have finished installing the hot showers. Close enough to Brisbane for a quick getaway and also close to the Gold Coast if you want a day trip. Natural Bridge is only 10mins away. During summer the river would be a good cooling off and relaxing place to just sit. We enjoyed our short stay.

Such a great peaceful campground on the bank of the creek. Even though it rained the whole time we were there, the campgrounds and the hosts were fantastic. There was heaps of room, flushing toilets and of course a hot shower. You're able to have a fire out there on those crisp nights to stay warm and there is plenty for the kids to explore.Definitely worth a visit!!!

Absolutely LOVE this place!!! We camped right near the creek, had creek views all weekend! Kids had an absolute ball!! This place is beautiful! Toilets and showers are old looking (this didn’t bother us) so if your fussy this isn’t the spot for you. Loved how the cows were roaming the camp site. Our car battery died and we called the lovely lady who owned the place (forget her name) and she came and jump started our car. Wonderful service easy check in. HIGHLY RECOMMEND
