Snug Cove Villas

Good location near the popular fish shop. Sadly the facilities were quite limited with tv remotes missing and not many essentials given. Also the decor was a bit dated, considering the place was otherwise pretty nice

The place was ok.. Rather old and needs to be updated. The shower and toilet aren’t good, mouldy shower screen and the toilet wasn’t nice, rusted bin. The beds were well below a standard comfortable level.I found pubic hair on the couch (as we first came in) and multiple in the bathroom on the floor. That sort of thing just shouldn’t happen. The vertical blinds were broken and dusty. I don’t understand how people would think that this is ok.. Take pride in your places, or sell them to people that will! I’d be embarrassed if that was my investment. It has so much potential. It’s in a lovely spot.Overall happy to spend a single night there.Wouldn’t stay there again unfortunately.I am only giving my honest review. Accepting honest criticism is a practice most adults can handle. Instead of accusing people of being “keyboard warriors” because their review isn’t great. I’ll change my rating based on the immature response. If you look further down the reviews, others express the same issues. Simple solution:fix the issues, then let the great reviews roll in and avoid bad reviews.. it’s really not that hard.

Great place to stay but deff needs an AC upstairs.

Good villas with a good view of Twofold Bay and Snug Cove. They did get very warm in the afternoon and early evening with north facing high glass frontage turning the villa into a bit of a greenhouse. The living room was a great space, and the balcony was very nice. The beds weren't all that comfortable however and could definitely be replaced.

Beware: Refund/cancellation policyGiven it’s 2022, you’d think you’d be protected even just a little if you have to cancel a booking 11days prior to arrival.But no, not the case with Snug Cove Villas.They took full payment.Very unreasonable given people are still contracting covid etc and cannot travel.Won’t be recommending to anyone in my travel network

RENTERS BEWARE NOT LUXURY APARTMENTWe stayed in Snug Cove Villa Unit 1 and we we very dissapointedAfter reading previous reviews from over 2 years ago, clearly the issues & problems have NOT been rectifiedThe garage door was not working, several lights throughout the unit not working, the MAIN ISSUE was NO LIGHTING ON THE EXTERNAL STAIRCASE, making it very DANGEROUSMaintenance guy was called after hours, he fixed 2 internal lights and was very helpful, however the property agent Lisa was very unhelpful and she relayed that the owners pretty much said tough luckClearly the owners have NO INTEREST in exercising their responsibility of maintaining safety at the propertyITS ALL ABOUT THE $$$ TO THEM

Beautiful little place. Nice and warm, and the best views

The villas are in a good location for the Whale Festival and the wharf but a hard walk into town.The villa we stayed in was furnished rather cheaply and was not luxury, at least for the last couple of decades.It was clean though, which is important, and had plenty of utensils and crockery in the kitchen.There is no wifi, which should be pretty standard now.It is also cold in the bedrooms and there is an industrial hum somewhere close outside. Not enough to keep me awake, but noticeable.
