Shapland Swim School Kallangur

Friendly and helpful staff. My one year old Logan loves his lessons. His confidence in the water has grown quickly and in just a few lessons. Natalie his teacher, is amazing with little children. Lessons are very affordable and you're able to make it up if you need to skip one. Highly Recommend.

We absolutely love Shapland swim school at Kallangur. We had tried others in the area and nothing compares to their classes and how well the instructors helped our children with their confidence in the water. Our once very shy 5 year old is now a confident swimmer and it’s all thanks to John and Janine at shaplands Kallangur. The pool is a mineral pool so it’s gentle on all of our skin and we don’t smell like chlorine when we hop out! This was so important to us with children with sensitive skin. The change rooms are very easily accessible and user friendly with a high chair for the small children to sit in while you change and a change table for the babies to change on. The change room also has a heater for winter! We cannot rate this swim school highly enough. The viewing room is air-conditioned in summer and heated in winter and is a great spot to watch the children. We cannot rate shaplands Kallangur highly enough!

My family can't praise Shapland swim school Kallangur enough. Each teacher is so passionate about kids learning to swim, our daughter has thrived. We've seen her skills develop and improve each week. Highly recommend Shapland Swim School Kallangur and all their warm, wonderful teachers.

Had our first swim here for our 2 young children last week and what a beautiful experience we had (even though our baby cried). Natalie was AMAZING and my boy felt completely at ease and healed from his previous terrible experiences elsewhere. My baby was guided gently and at a pace comfortable for her to find her feet. We've certainly found our 'home' and look forward to watching our children's development in the water blossom through this nurturing and supportive swim school.Thank you so much!

My Daughter started at Shaplands Kallangur in 2016 when she was 5. She had an absolute fear of the water and having a bath and washing her hair at home were a nightmare so we didn't know how she would ever learn to swim but we wanted her to be water safe and so we had to try! I told John and said i didn't expect her to even get in the water for the first few lessons... but he gently encouraged her and not only got her in the water but she even dipped her face in the water without screaming!!!! It took a lot of perseverence and patience on the teacher's behalf but Miabelle slowly but surely became less afraid and more confident in the water. We are so grateful for the small classes and the kind encouraging teachers she has had over the last 5 years. I would strongly recommend Shaplands Kallangur to anyone looking for a kind, caring, child-centred approach.

To say I am disappointed with this swim school is an understatement. At his first lesson, he was in a class with a nearly 3 year old, did no appropriate activities for his age and I did not move from the step to do any activities in the water with him. When I asked for a refund, I was told to give the swim school another chance and that he would be moved into a more age appropriate class. The next week he was in a class with 18 month olds, still a large developmental difference. I did get the opportunity to do more activities with him in the water although I would not say it was $22 worth of activities. The free lessons offered at North Lakes Pool was of better standard than this. After the second lesson I asked for a refund and my question was completely ignored. Instead I was told I would have to pay for the next month as per the terms. What a waste of time and money! The pool and facilities is also very run down and dirty.

Our daughter absolutely loves Shapland at Kallangur and we recommend them often. The class size of 3 is perfect as the kids get enough one on one attention and don't need to wait too long to have their turn, the class size also helps reduce the chaos in the pool, we have been to another swim school that could have up to 4 classes running at any time! Our daughter swims well for her age and it's because of her teacher John at Shapland that has helped her with her confidence and abilities.

Do you want a swim school your child will love? Shapland at Kallangur is the place you want to go to!We have been to many swim schools, and Shapland is the place to go. They have a maximum of three kids in one session. This is a perfect size for the kids to learn and develop their skills.Our son had Nat and Janine as his coach; both are very devoted and invested in every child they teach. Our son is three and is a great swimmer. The remarkable results are due to Shapland's playful approach to swimming with the kids.

We have been going here since our daughter was 7 months old. She has improved incredibly and loves going every week. She loves having the same kids in her class and is always so excited to go. Her confidence and ability to do things in the water has grown so much and she is more independent in the water now than she ever was. The instructors are amazing. They know what they are doing and are so friendly and supportive towards the kids.My partner's kids who are now 21 and 18 went to the same shaplands at kallangur and had the same instructors that are there today. They loved it and so do we! The admin are so friendly and helpful and have never had an issue.Highly recommend them!!!

We absolutely love shaplands swim school at kallangur. The swimming teachers have been fantastic with our children and our once nervous little 5 year old is now a confident swimmer thanks to the swim coaches. Janine and John have been particularly fantastic but we have had lessons with most instructors and are equally as impressed. The change rooms are also nice and clean and easily accessible with change tables for babies. We can’t rate shaplands highly enough.
