Australia Post - Malabar LPO

My favourite post office in Sydney! Professional service that always finds me the best postage option. Very quick, never much of a wait. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Arrived at the post office during official opening hours and see this sign back at 2pm". Not the first time - it should just have an official lunch break

This place is a joke. First and last time I step foot into that smelly shop. Went to leave a review and realised how many other people have had the same experience as me. Why does this ride off even have 2.2 stars lol. Customer service is non existent, old mate behind the counter clearly hates his life and his job, he can’t put a bit of sticky tape on a return label for you without having the biggest sook on the planet. Literally argued with me telling me it’s not his job to do it, that it takes up too much time, it’s annoying etc. I said “Sir there’s literally no one here except me I’ll go to another post office if it’s so hard, and if your job is so annoying find a new one. You’re rude and have no place working here with that ‘customer service’ ”. Buddy wasn’t fazed he’s probably heard it all before. Condescending parasite.

Always really helpful and I've always received good service here! He might be more to the point and direct, without friendly banter and extras, but that's not for everyone and I think it's good for people to remember that for some people, banter and extras means being too forward and personal. So he's being respectful. I didn't really know the best way to send a package overseas and felt he gave me plenty of options, information and help!!!! Just to mention one of the instances I've gone there.

WOW in my view Aus post Malabar offers the worst service from any Australia post I have ever visited !!! The man worker Sharim was very insulting in the way he has no care in the way he greets you and finishes off the experience. I am a new customer and can not wait for this man that is obviously overworked to Hurry up and be on his way !! Not good Australia post !

The manager of this business thinks it’s acceptable to close in the middle of the day for 45 minutes and the only notice given is a note on the door “be back in 45.” This isn’t the first time they’ve left a note on the door and closed either. Waste of time. Extremely unprofessional.

Dont bother wasting your time for anything. Clerk is extremely rude and unhelpful. I would recommended replacing this clerk with someone who has basic customer service skills.

The man is so rude and arrogant. Almost barks at you when you ask him something politely. The same happens when you ring the store. No customer service. I wanted to know what happens to parcels if not collected as i was going away. He just grunts back. He did not tell me about the Australia Post service of holding mail. Call Australia Post on 131318 and put in a formal complaint. So nice to speak to someone who knows how to treat customers.

I am assuming the man on the other side of the counter is the owner? But I have never come across a rude, arrogant imbecile individual, I do not go there very often but today was the last straw and will NEVER step foot in there again. Asked for a cost to send a box, he abruptly asked what in it?" His tone was off putting at first

The man behind the counter is very rude. I’m currently working on finding out how I can stop my packages being sent here
